Magnitude 5.8 earthquake just hit Los Angeles. Moderately strong rolling quake. Fortunately, I'm fine, and I have not heard of any injuries.

Since I have lived in Los Angeles my whole life, I am pretty use to earthquakes. But this one was pretty big. So, has anyone else here felt an earthquake?

Oh, and if you are wondering about the title. A girl in my class started crying and yelled that when the quake hit.

I heard about this, there is supposedly going to be some small aftershocks but yeah good to know no injuries reported. You know what they say about LA though, it's on some of the most volatile earth on the planet and is due a BIG ONE.

I haven't heard of any injuries. Some minor building damage in some areas.

It was definitely a strong quake. I was like "Please don't be the big one!".

we've had quakes here, even had people a mile away telling me it was going on...

fortunately, my house is built on an old sand-pit and hence is only sand from 4 feet down, hence you dont feel that ground shake
