Fire in the Sky

I don't have a snazzy camera or anything but last week I noticed the world was very orange around 8PM so I looked out my window and saw one of the most amazing skies I've ever seen, it looked like it was on fire!! Was very eerie but cool at the same time. Jumped outside grabbed a couple of images and just sat and watched it for about 10mins. It was almost like a fiery ocean above me.

nice catch diablo. there was one sunset here in the philippines and the sky became bright orange as well. i wanted to take photos of the sky only to find out my cameras battery needed charging. i haven't seen the sky orange since.

I've seen the sunset around my place like that a few times. Think I'll take a rummage through my com and fish out some of the better ones. Granted though, most of mine weren't quite as fiery as yours

Sunsets are great. I've seen similar sky's to those posted by Egg and Speedracer but that rich red in pyrre's picture is awesome!
