The floor in the front seats are pretty nasty....

But the power leather seats are still very nice, with power back lumbars too.

Back seats are even better

First off, the first person to notice whats wrong with it gets a free E-Cookie! But anyway, its a 95 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. It pretty much has all the options, including air ride suspension. It has a 4.6L SOHC V8, which looks bigger than the 5.2L V8 in the Durango you see in the pics. The spedometer was broken when I got it but I fixed it now, it reads 134K miles, not sure how acurate that is really. Not like it matters, these are very reliable cars(same as the Crown Victoria, or a typical USA police car) and I got the car for $1200 from my good neighbors. The air suspension is awesome, this car is so smooth. The engine is very torquey too, even though I don't think this car has the performance package(220HP in the PP vs. the regular 190HP). This car COASTS at highway speed. Don't ask about the gas mileage, I haven't driven it alot yet but I'm sure it does pretty good coasting down the highway.

But, why plate on the back but not on the front? :p

Its not required to have a front plate in the USA; I think there is a law called "backing up" which means its illegal to reverse into a parking space as the cops can't then see your number plate?!?!?!

Maybe someone from the USA could confirm that, or correct me!!

GC :D

I park backwards in the parking spot at work just about everyday. Its not required in Georgia but some states do require it.

Thanks for all the nice comments. And yea for $1200, its a NICE car. Since no one noticed...

The pass. side mirror is taped on. The windshield wipers stay up like that when they're off. They work, but they stop up instead of down. I've seen a few Panther bodies around here like that, im sure its not a hard fix at all. I need to find a good pather body forum to sign up on. Pull-a-part has CHEAP parts, and I want to swap in a DOHC 4.6 in the future with J-moded transmission.

Mercury Grand Marquis FTW lol

I'm too spoiled and the lowest class I can go to is a Lincoln Navigator, and the 2003-present actually has a pretty good ride. It's so smooth, you don't feel the bumps literally and the third row seats actually has leg room unlike other SUV's because it uses an independent rear suspension.
