forza horizon 3 metalshredder7's FH3 Lunacy
Eudemon replied to metalshredder7's topic in Screens, Videos & Streams
Very nice thanks, going to post it on our socials that's why I wanted the large version. :D And yeah there was an update made at Facebook that basically screwed the pooch for people using the Facebook connect feature on here, we disabled it when alerted. -

Haha what's the deal with the old Jag, can you add items to your cars or did you do that with Photoshop? The Viper at the end is notably the stand out for me personally. It's styled incredibly well. Have you got a link for the full-res versions? The issues you faced getting on here: Was it a login problem, access issue or something else? -
Most are posting where the car is from so that seems a good thing to do if you're not sure yours will be recognised. As the theme states 'Famous cars' though, I guess it has to at least be known in some way to be from something even if it's not what you originally planned. :p

pc The Compensator's Random Pics
Eudemon replied to The Compensator's topic in Screens, Videos & Streams
Damn, never realised how big the Sandking (?) actually is but it's clear to see in that pic. And you can never beat a nice bit of ye old TDU imagery. :hello: -
Ideally I would say the vehicle would need to have at least been seen in some form of official capacity to allow it. I actually thought you were going to go for something from the new Fast & Furious.

Haha great set and worth the wait. I think I know the 'donuts' quip reference from GTA SA though it could about be an older NFS advert too. Out of this lot though, I have to give it to that absolutely stellar Merc vs Cadillac shot! :coool:

Porsche Pack Teasing - Take 2 The Assetto Corsa team are clearly back to work (read: sober) after the celebrations of the release of the first Porsche Pack, which became available for PC through Steam last week and comes to console some time in November. Moving the volume dial up to 2 (see what I did there?), firm favourite for divulging the goods about anything to do with the game is Licensing Project Manager, Marco Massarutto and fantastically he is at it again. Posting up new teaser images on his Facebook that show the interiors of some of the Porsche cars that will come in Porsche Pack Volume 2. In the first of these we can see a classic racer complete with racing goggles sitting square and true in a 718 Spyder RS 60, kept firmly in place with the help of a racing harness. The next set encompasses some of the best known of Porsche racing in recent times: that blue ‘PORSCHE’ text against the white banner and that dashboard can be nothing else but the 962c, the vents on the bonnet/hood and that mirror position spells out 911 GT1 and the wires all over the place and lashings of carbon fibre scream out 919 Hybrid – which we know* is the 2015 edition because of the listing on Steam. *It helps that Marco also posted the names of the cars with each image which I did not see!! Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail Is it possible to get excited about what the pack will contain if we already know? Well yes as with each image shown from in-game we get an idea of what to expect and can analyse the details for ourselves, building up the anticipation for the day when we will get to try them out on our own machines. Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume 2 is likely to release on November 22nd for PC on Steam with the consoles again to come sometime afterwards. [gallery type=rectangular" size="small-post-image" link="file" ids="5744,5749,5748,5747,5746,5745,5750] Forza Horizon 3 - Expansion 1 Tease But wait!! We were also given a sneak peek at what the first of the two expansion packs aims to deliver... Snow! "Theeee hillllls are alive with the sound of screaming V12!!" That’s right, winter is coming to Australia in what is actually the summer due to it being located in the southern hemisphere, but we can ignore that as the image above showing a Lamborghini Centenario caked in the white stuff is just too good to ignore. Don’t forget that you can buy a ‘Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass’ to get discounted access to the two expansions, or for those who bought the Ultimate Edition then you will be ecstatic to hear that a small discount is available on the pass until the end of this year. [headline]the banner contest #79[/headline] http://turboduck.net/img/tbc/tbc.jpg[/img] Well done Mr Anderson. You took an emphatic win in tbc #78 with your awesome Skyline R33 hitting some serious angle from Forza Horizon 3. Theme: Famous Cars from Movies & TV (paint jobs optional) Deadline: Sun 6th November, 2016 - Entries | Sun 6th November, 2016 - Votes PRIZE The winning entry or entries will be posted up on our community forum banner and if large enough will also be put on our social channels too. (if multiple winners then images will be split between these as we see fit) RULES Stick to the implied theme (don't look for loopholes) - any being awkward for the sake of it will make you ineligible for entry Images must not exceed 5MB, and dimensions must be at least 1280x720. (please do not crop your pics to the banner dimensions) No post-production or editing of entry images except to crop or resize please, raw from the game is what we want - use the game settings to set up your image correctly The post that contains your entry image must be labelled with 'ENTRY POST' (makes it clear what image you are going with & for us to find :p) If you change your mind on your entry image - DO NOT post updated images in later posts, edit and replace the previous image with the new one (up until thread is locked for Poll creation) Each entrant must also cast a vote - if you fail to vote, your entry will be disqualified from Poll results (those unable to vote are exempt from this) You cannot vote for yourself - instant disqualification if so Winner chooses the next theme, unless they won prior, in which case the runner up decides - if no pick within 24 hours then theme will be free-for-all Winner has 24 hours to create a new thread or can PM or reply in the current 'tbc' thread to have a staff member do so instead Winner must not try to sneak new rules in the new thread or alter existing rules - be clear on your theme to avoid this Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them are not eligible) (Please mention what game your screenshot is from if not obvious) Entering the competition with a TDU2 picture may result in suspension/ban of your account. Each contest is broken into an entries part and then a voting part, after which the winner(s) will be decided from the poll results Good luck and remember you can use your Gallery space to host your entry. :bparty:

DRIVECLUB Urban Tracks When PlayStation VR released, one of the first titles to properly take advantage of and show what was so good about Virtual Reality was DRIVECLUB VR. Releasing as a full title it was only right that it received brand new content that wasn’t in the normal release and so a selection of new tracks set in urban environments was included. It could have been left like that but no, as continuing on with the fantastic post-release support that Evolution Studios oozed upon DRIVECLUB, it was revealed that these new tracks would also hit the original game in a free future update. Announced via the PlayStation Europe twitter, ‘The Urban Tracks’ update adds 15 new tracks that can also be run in reverse and sees the new layouts of: Gujo in Japan; Ashii in India, Iquique in Chile; Port of Vancouver in Canada and Bryggen in Norway added to the standard game. Weighing in at close to 6GB this update is no small thing and continues to show the decision by Sony to close down Evolution Studios to be a real head scratcher as to why they did so. This team is not only talented, they are passionate, take immense pride in their work and have a scary attention to detail. What more could you ask for?! Our good friends at MotoGamesTV have captured some vids of the new tracks. A small message from what is more than likely the squad at Evolution is included at the end of the changelog for the Version 1.28 update: "Thanks for your support. Thanks for your commitment. Farewell and enjoy the game!" it reads. :( Yes ‘Farewell’ to Evo, but HELLO!! to Rushy and the team that are working on a racing game for Codemasters and a big best of luck! to the rest of Evo wherever you clever sausages have ended up! Poll has been updated to take into account wrongly attributed votes. Congratulations Andreas on being the sole winner of tbc #78!! You distanced yourself from those behind to take it by almost double that of second place. Impressive. Notices: * Ryzza5 is disqualified due to not voting in the poll

I've removed the onclick to stop the current tab navigating also. I copied the modified code from the original and that was left in even though it isn't needed. How long have you been getting irked by that and not said anything I wonder?? :hmmm:

[headline]*meh* UPDATE[/headline] Put in a small update just now that will make the sharing of pages and items from the Media Gallery on social media that much easier for us (and you if you want) by implementing the Open Graph info into the main page, category and member pages as well as the viewing of the media item itself. Eh... what? :oook: This basically means that when you share a URL from the Gallery, the info shown on the post/tweet/etc on that service will use the title, text and image instead of randomly grabbing the banner image or someone's avatar and using that. As we said this is a bit *meh* in the grand scheme of things but it was one of those things we wanted to get working well and so have done. (we hope!) :para: Another change, which might be more welcome, is the lightbox (the thing that shows the fullsize image) has been changed to the one used on the forum. This one is better as it allows you to hit the icon on the bottom to maximise the size to eclipse that of your browser viewing window, rather than be constrained within like the one previously did. I also just want to say a massive thanks to those of you who use the gallery to post some of your amazing images and such. It's been fun seeing them showing up and I hope you will continue to do so. :bunny:

Project Pagani CARS In light of the news that Project CARS had sold over 2 million copies comes the surprise announcement that a free edition is available now on Steam: Project CARS - Pagani Edition. This heavily streamlined version of the Slightly Mad Studios developed sim-racer features all five of the Pagani models that can be found in the main game and provides players with three tracks to race them on: the full Nürburgring layout of the 24Hour event (yay!), the Monza Grand Prix circuit and the in-house created paradisical Azure Coast. Out of the five Paganis available in this edition, 3 of them are variations of the Zonda, including the undeniably outrageous track-only Zonda R, with the other 2 being of the current Huayra model, one of which is the more hardcore Huayra BC. With full VR ability on both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive plus – as Panasonic liked to show us often – glorious 4K display support, the PC version has always been a showcase product for many a brand and it is obvious why when a glimpse is made of the game running on quality settings. For those who have held out on buying, this is the perfect opportunity to see what they may have missed and perhaps might even sway them into becoming customers of the full game. And should they decide to do so then they can use the turboduck liveried RUF, designed by Milli, that tduck – and former staff – member Ryzza5 generously allowed us to use as part of the perks he received for the level he funded the project at. Probably would have made sense to offer a nice discount on the game to coincide with the release of this though SMS… no? Source: Slightly Mad Studios
