  1. Dude, you may still be able to recover the files, they aren't permanently deleted when you delete the file, the space on the HDD is marked free to be overwritten, so if you download a recovery program you may be able to recover a large portion of your stuff if you haven't put too much new stuff on it.
  2. How did you fix it?, been having the same exact problem with my G27 for months now!
  3. Rotary maintenance isn't too bad as long as you take proper care of them, warm the car up properly, keep a regular eye on the oil level, pre-mix and you should be gravy, I know a friend who dailies an RX8 with no issues.
  4. Just watching that intro has made me not want to watch a single episode of the new series, that made me cringe so hard, RIP Top Gear.
  5. After reading all this, not even going to give the new show a shot, such a shame as I have been a long time fan of Top Gear and it sounds like it has been ruined, I guess I will just stick to watching the old episodes.
  6. It doesn't as what you saw recently unless you actually saw it in person....
  7. Yeah pretty much every workshop out there requires mechanics to have their own tools, even when I was doing work experience at BMW all the mechanics had their own tools, apart from any special tools, the shop did have a set of those.
  8. Looking really good man! Can't wait for it to be released! Also I was wondering if you can find a model for Work M1's could you tweak the RWB to make them fit please since Elvis seems to have disappeared from the forum, and he was the only one working on a set of those wheels. It would be much appreciated if you have the time to do it :)
  9. It's pretty much nearly rotten fish, it's preserved just enough to stop it rotting and then fermented for like 6 months, it's one of the smelliest foods in the world, the smell alone can make people vomit.
  10. I need to find someone who can convert the sounds over to rFactor! I remember someone on here made an rFactor sound mod for me before, I just can't remember who it was.
  11. That sounds so good! is it a mod for the game, or a DLC? would love to have those sounds in rFactor!
  12. This has the potential to be an amazing game, lets just hope they have worked on all the things that everyone has always complained about with GT. The photomode looks amazing, the graphics aren't too bad, and there is finally a livery editor!! let's just hope the sounds are good and that they have improved the physics, because lets be honest, they call the game a simulator, but the physics are still kinda arcadey.
  13. I don't actually find Parker to be that annoying, he does some good reviews, he certainly isn't my favourite car YouTuber, but I don't hate him.
  14. I need AC now, that sounds amazing, the handling looks awesome too! So hard to find a decent skyline mod for rFactor :/
  15. As was my reply haha, it may not be needed, but certainly looks better with one. Also nice pick with the subie, the MX5 is nice too, although I'm more of a fan of the NA over the NB.
  16. In a more subtle colour they tend to blend in more, they are nice cars, hard to find a factory turbo manual car, I did come across an Autech 260RS (RB26 powered with a manual and AWD) but I would have blown the entire budget on the one car. And for the R33, it's a skid car, a bumper only inhibits air flow to the radiator haha, but it's not too badly priced for a track car actually, it looks like it even has a full cage which is probably worth at least $1,500 to $2,000 alone.
  17. Since the budget is 7,500 quid, that gives me $15,908 NZD to spend. Lets start with the wife Toyota Landcruiser - $5,500 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 1999 | Trade Me It's a Toyota so it's bullet proof, they are comfortable and spacious so plenty of room for the kids in the back, and are still competent off road if ever required. For Dave Nissan Stagea 25 RS-Four - $6,995 Nissan Stagea 25RS-Four S Turbo 5-speed 4WD 2001 | Trade Me Essentially a Skyline wagon, comes with an RB25DET so has plenty of power, it's comfortable and spacious for those long trips, but still exciting to drive, and as an added bonus it's a factory AWD model. And now for the bonus car Nissan Skyline R33 Drift Car - $2,500 Nissan Skyline R33 DRIFT CAR 1995 | Trade Me Weekend toy for Dave to go and have a trash in and let out the frustrations from dealing with idiotic customers all week, and he can tow it behind the Stagea! Total spend of $14,995 NZD, which leaves Dave with $913 for tyres for the R33.
  18. Nice looking mod, I haven't tested it yet, but one small thing that needs correcting in the title, this is a 1967, not a 1966.
