i made this today, with only three samples but this is really good (I used Audacity for work on them :D ).
Slot used : Audi S6 (rename it and replace it whatever you want)
i used this on a VW Bora V6 with a rev counter of gasoil model (russian model HF-garage miha2795 i think:oook:)
This is really cool with it because in interior view the redline is like a gasoil model (4500/5000 rpm) but i set the redline at 6700rpm but set it what you like:cool:
 
PS:use Turbocharger sound V1.2 it's better ;)

Do you actually know what an Alpha channel in a texture is used for? :) You really should use it.

That may be the case for some of the cars built in Japan, but a lot of builds outside Japan that Nakai-San does, the owners tend to leave the engine reasonably stock, some may do a refresh, or some mild performance mods, but a lot of them don't do full engine builds, yes there are some out there that have had turbo motors, etc built, but RWB isn't synonymous with performance engines, etc, Nakai-San builds them to look good and to handle well both on the street and on the track, everything else is up to the owners to do if they want to.

I don't have a lot of time at the moment due to work but later I'll share some links about the Porsche Jdm tuner scene then you will understand. And the rauh welts are standard is nonsense nearly all off them run highly powered engine setups I spent hours researching this and the rev limits before I made the sound

When you guys decide to mod for money purposes - any game, is it TDU or GTA or Sims or whatever - you should not do it. You can't make much money of modding, except some minimal donations of some friendly guys. Don't have money in your focus, rather find a good job, and do something productive.
When you decide to mod for - well - game extensions how it is supposed to be - don't take money, or at least don't make people feel they NEED to pay.
 
If you mod for money, you're doing something wrong. I mod TDU for 8 years now and didn't ever asked for a single cent. And it will be like that in future :happyroll: Just wanted to say this.
 
PS: If you look at my list - it's time for me for the first long test tomorrow :D And probably the first pics with the soft top will follow then!

Sorry for posting this once more and in this thread Star, but will we ever get a TDU1 converted mod of your amazing TDU2 BMW i8?
 
This one is not my type of car, but for a 4 year old mod looks quite good. Biggest difference to current gen mods is clearly the rims, those looks like plastic. Incredible the advances this game has seen in such a short period.

Thanks :) Well, Bigbnks is great, but it was made for models which are too highpoly for the game, and not what current modders do, by packing in unneccessarily large textures which difference you won't notice, and that's a shame.

I've got a big YES moment :-) .
 
Finally, the sun sometimes, and the actual ingame weather from outside, visible from inside buildings.
Weathercycle apply to everything but car rent, and painter, done.
Not released yet.
Next step, doing special weather for at flat, car dealers, traders, at night.

Do you plan in release your database? I mean, you can share your database, with a list of new slots file names, so people can download the cars themselves and just put them in the game. Doing that you avoid the modders permission to share their mods, as you're not sharing any mod at all, just a database "ready" for them.

I like this car even more than the 250 GT California, and that says a lot. Thank you so much for bringing these kind of machines into our beloved game.
 
As for the textures I don't care. If it was something visible from the cockpit view or some really big area, it perhaps might matter, but in that place, for me, it's completely okay to use the same texture as in the rest.

I switched to TDU2 THREE times and I came back to TDU after few weeks - believe me, I´ll stay with TDU this time for ever. It´s a nice feeling when you switch back, it feels like driving, not ice-skating. :sohappy:
