  1. I know they are different games. The meme is about the fact that both games are/will be F2P and they both are arcade style. I understand that I did not use the meme correctly, I was just trying to poke fun at it.
  2. Thanks for the mod! Does anyone know if the boost pressure gauge comes stock with the real one? --- Post Updated --- Thanks for the mod! Does anyone know if the boost pressure gauge comes stock with the real one or is it aftermarket?
  3. I understand that it's not a simulator and I agree with your statement. I at least wish there was a better visual damage model so it would influence me to drive better. I don't know about you but I myself driving a BMW M5 for example in a game with a broken taillight and rear bumper that is about to fall off is not very appealing to me. But it's something that I want to be able to happen regardless if I want to see it or not. Like I said it keeps me more aware of how I drive. TDU2 and NFS Most Wanted 2012 are somewhat common when it comes to game play mechanics other than the fact that you can't destroy your car (visual wise) in TDU2. In NFS:MW you can smash up your car visually and repair it by driving into a gas station. All in all I don't think TDU2 needed "realistic" damage but just some better visual would be nice rather that just some scratch decals loaded from a simple file in the game.
  4. Yea, you're right but I have other games that simulate a whole lot more with regards to the damage model and having code that is written so that it actually effects the aerodynamics and handling after you crash. It may have been that car manufacturers demanded more money for things of this nature and it was not in the budget when they where making the game.
  5. I have to agree, I have both TDU and TDU2 but I like TDU better because of the ability to mod a whole lot more and I don't always have to hear the stupid game radio commercials such as an advertisement of marketing a product that has a crossword puzzle built into a concrete mixer.
  6. Especially when you can be going a buck forty in a $700,000 Ferrari make a slight turn, go flying off the road (thanks to the physics in this game) , slamming into a tree and the damage looking like it can be fixed a $15 can of Bondo.
  7. I just want you to be aware that creating a functioning HUD/MOTEC system is not possible in the PC version of TDU.
  8. I don't understand why they removed it when the game fully launched. I mean, it does rain in the game so logically it would be nice to have wipers even though the rain does not hinder vision in the game.
  9. He has 6,500+ posts under his belt and you have a total of 3. I found the spelling correction on his part to be quite funny.
  10. I found it but that's a cheat program and I don't help people that cheat. Furthermore we can't talk about cheats on this site.
  11. It's not even close to being as cool as driving a $400,000 Lamborghini but it was a truck that I learned how to drive in. (Not sure is there are any models of it as of right now)
  12. I hate to break it for you dude but you are showing no respect for the people that take time out of their own life to make others happy by keeping TDU2 a fun game to play. I myself make custom models and animations for some games and I do it because I like to make my fellow gamers happy and I myself feel proud that most people appreciate my work. I have been told before that some of it should be put and on TurboSquid due the extreme quality of them. (you can host your models on that site and get money for it) I sometimes cry a bit because I am in my 20's living a somewhat hard life with very little money and I can be making thousands of dollars with these models by selling them. But I don't because I believe mods are what keep old games alive and still wanted to be played even with the advancement of more graphical and mechanical games these days. Whats even worse is that more and more games are becoming hard coded by the developers and very difficult if not impossible to mod. It takes an extreme amount of effort and time to do some of these mods that I make and that's what some of you people that have no skill in modding don't understand and a few of you guys just crap in our face about how something is not right or something should have been done better. I am open for criticism in regards to my stuff I make but I am not open to crying over stupid things. It's not a click and "bam" a mod is made. Be glad that people are still making high quality mods for a game that was literately not even finished in the first place and physics that make you feel like you are driving nothing but a brick on wheels.

What does he have to do with this?
  14. I don't understand how someone would go about doing that and even if someone did you would not be able to use it online.
  15. Wow, that sound is pure ear porn to us car lovers, great job!
  16. I got rid of those files and it fixed my problem, thanks for the help!
  17. Hello all, I am having issues with car mods. I have unpacked my TDU2 game and watched videos on YouTube on how to install mods and I replace the files from the downloaded mod yet the old car from TDU2 is still there. I don't understand how this can be happening as I am replacing the files. Any help to fix this issue would be great, thanks.
  18. Strangely enough running TDUPE as admin was causing TDU to crash at start up. I tested it and it works now, thanks guys. :)
