Camel got a reaction from TIMELESS in Show us your vehicle
Going to get my engine remapped today. =D Nice 80 mile drive along one of the countries best roads.
Hopefully I'll be able to get a decent video of my exhaust popping and burbling and pictures of 7 or 8 of my cars brothers and sisters. :)

Don't go out without your other half and get smashed to return home not being able to string words together let alone sentences...
They realllllly don't like it and it will cost you a fortune. :( Kinda annoyed at myself to be honest. It's a miracle I could walk.

Camel got a reaction from Milli in Gran Turismo 6 {DT} - Now let's talk about it. [UP: It's Out!]
I missed out a key word somewhere in there. Hope.
I'm guessing it'll be towards the end of 205 or later. It is PD after all.

Here be moar loud. Didn't really start going for a second and still made 60 in 8.5 - 9 seconds.
Next time I go for a drive I'll wear a coat and not have the heater on. it's too loud.

Camel reacted to Paladin Skylark in Forza Motorsport 5 {DT} - Turning current-gen car lovers into next-gen car gamers
Graphics aside.
200 cars (ish)
2 new tracks?
Driveatar...
I'm not seeing the improvement here. Especially since Greenawalt and Turn 10 have completely shut out the hardcore sim racing community. No endurance racing, no tire degradation, no fuel consumption.. The more I see about Forza the more upset I become, because a franchise that I once loved has now turned it's back on me, catering to 5 year olds and people who love micro-transactions.

*Makes a new road*
Sod paths!
In other news, you get the same people repping the same few people over and over again.
ZOMG I had a brilliant day, I ate chips *+ rep*

Tada!
Two growling poo shoots.
The rear boot is actually much bigger than it looks on this. Easily fit 8 or so full bags of shopping in(does get hot though so no frozen food as I found out the hard way) and then you can fit a few under the bonnet at the front too.
It's an amazing car to drive when it's dry. There's just so much grip even with the crappy Chinese tyres on it. No understeer at all and the back end stays planted unless I do something really stupid.
In the wet it's a completely different animal, it'll kick it's arse out every chance it gets. And while it's incredibly fun to do that coming off a roundabout or pulling out of a junction it's not exactly safe or what I want from a daily driver. So fairly soon I'm ordering some Toyo tyres which are apparently some of the best handling tyres for this car.
It's also surprisingly good as a daily driver for work, shopping and being a taxi. Driven it for hours none stop and the only thing that ached was my clutch ankle because I've not driven a manual for a while.
Not done too well to say I wanted a cheap, practical car that I wouldn't want to spend any money on... New tyres, ECU remap, washer jets, aux cable for the head unit, ODBII cable to plug my laptop into it, another aux power plug, new MG badges, autoglym stuff, and a bit more. Wouldn't mind upgrading the intake/exhaust system one day either. :)

Camel got a reaction from Fear Deer in Battlefield 4 Beta / Open Beta - Umm anyone tried it yet?
I prefer BF3 over the BF4 beta to be honest. It has potential but it just doesn't feel quite right to me.

It was one of the first TFs made. But he added to his tally and wrote it off by crashing into the side of a car as he pulled out of a junction. Suppose it's not as bad as the building he wrote another car off on, or even the lorry.
It's the 1.8 too. :D

It's going to a garage that specialises in MGs and Land Rovers which also use the K-series engine. I know the garage to so trust that the work will be done properly. Just can't wait to dive it now. Supposed to be getting a call on Tuesday to let me know when it should be ready.
First thing I'm going to do is disconnect the exhaust control valve that block off one of the pipes to make it quieter at low revs. I want both poo shoots working all the time! And also swap the speakers for the ones in my Mini.
And maybe in a few months get the ECU remapped to improve throttle response and torque delivery. My uncle had it done to his and said I should get it done as it makes it feel like a completely different car to drive.

Got let down by the person who I was gonna buy the Audi from and saw this. Thought I'd get an insurance quote for a laugh and it turned out to be quite reasonable. Went to see it this afternoon
Noticed a few things wrong with it and pointed them out as he only got the car in yesterday. Mainly the electric windows being stuck and there being white/yellow mayonnaise like stuff on the oil dipstick which points to head gasket problems. But he's booking it into an MG specialist garage that he uses and getting those fixed along with checking everything else on the car is working fine before letting me have it. Comes to the tune of between £800-£1000 work at no cost to me.
Paint has small chips around the usual areas which is expected on a 9 year old car but the interior is perfect apart from the lalala lighter cover missing and the pedals being a bit scuffed.
Will be perfect parked next to my Mini when it's back on the road.
