    It's on TG as well: Saab is officially back! - BBC Top Gear Going to feel strange when they have to stop calling them Saabs and change the badging and everything. :hmmm: killalldude: I really like the 9-5 estate too but they didn't have time to get it approved/certified/whatever before they closed down in 2011 so it's not legal to drive on public roads anywhere I think. They only made very few of them and they are all in the hands of collectors now. All of them were auctioned off last year along with a few other cars, including Victor Muller's own former personal car. :hmmm:

    BBC News - Saab to resume making cars in Sweden The new owners seem to have gotten Saab back on its feet. We already knew they were going electric but they will restart the normal petrol version of the 9-3 before that happens. Wonder where this will go from now?     I'm guessing Advent Sunday (fourth Sunday before Christmas) is an acceptable time to get hyped about it but there have been Christmas ads all over TV for weeks so I generally get hyped up a lot sooner than that. :p

    If you are from Slovenia I'm guessing your keyboard layout looks like this? File:Qwertz-si.svg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia If so you can get the è and à by pressing Alt Gr + 7 and then the letter a or e. I'm not sure why copy and paste didn't work, maybe it didn't copy the diacritics or maybe you accidentally copied a space too much or something like that?

    BeamNG Drive costs $15 and that's it. The choices are there if you would like to pay more, in which case the surplus goes to the developers as a donation, but the game is still only $15 and you won't get any extras for paying more than that. You drive alone in BeamNG, unless you choose to spawn another vehicle manually. You can spawn as many as you'd like, but of course each extra vehicle is extra strain on the PC, mine can't handle more than 2 or 3 at a time (and some cars are way more demanding than others). Look at their page of requirements to see where your PC fits in and what you can expect.

    Between what licenses? There is only one license of BeamNG Drive. And it's easy to compare this to NCG but to be honest they are not really fighting the same battle. This is a hardcore physics simulator whilst NCG is a whole game that has to appeal to as many people as possible and contain a lot more features than realistic damage. If you want to go realistic, nothing today can beat BeamNG Drive but crashing cars is really the only thing you can do, at least until they start releasing more updates. It also requires quite a monstrous PC to run properly.

    I said narrower, not wider. I think plates for TDU2 are still 256x128 pixels so I don't think you could make them any wider. Never mind.

    Too short? What do you mean? I'm just thinking the proportions seem a bit off on some plates which lead to a lot of empty space. :) Also, one thread is enough so I've deleted the other one you just made. ;)

    I was half expecting to walk in this thread and see a picture of a GT86 or an F-Type or something like that in your post :p

    It may just be me, but they seem a bit stretched width-wise. Does TDU2 support transparent plates the same way TDU1 did? If so you would probably benefit from making the plates a bit narrower, just my advice. :)

    As it was becoming more and more apparent that the kickstarter was going to fail, Bugbear decided to scrap it early and instead release their tech demo for everybody who has preordered the game so far! :msuh3: In it you get to drive one car around their testing ground which contains everything you can imagine. The car crushers from the damage video are all in it, along with a cannon (!) and lots of other goodies to help you make a mess of that by now familiar orange car. You can drive along with as many as 23 AI drivers as well. Pushing one of them into the car crushers feels quite satisfying. Graphically it looks great and it runs very well too, at least on my system. I was worried it was going to be too unoptimized to get good frame rates but it really isn't. I bet videos and screenshots are going to start popping up on Youtube and the likes soon.

    I remember those from San Andreas and the quarry missions. You transported bodies in them at one point and cars would explode if you ran them over with it iirc. Driving physics was weird though. :p I would post my snaps but feels a bit too late for that.

    I've seen the the part where they were mud racing in the convertibles on Facebook and that seems like a lot of fun, I wonder what their reasoning behind that was :p Otherwise it kind of feels to me like we've seen the concept before when they have searched for the best driving roads on the TV show. Also, why are they always missing one presenter on these DVDs? It almost feels hollow :p

    From yesterday (Note the S badge too) I also saw one of those new Maseratis (Quattroporte/Ghibli? Can't remember), and I have the feeling I forgot something else as well.

    High speed camera footage can be really fantastic but I don't get these people who buy stuff for the sole purpose of destroying it. Kinda ruins it for me. Wonder if they'll try blending it soon.

    When they forced me into changing my username, I just took that as an opportunity to change my crappy username I had into another fake one, so I don't have any problem commenting, at least I don't think so. Never ever used Google+ and not going to either, but I looked at the profile it had created for me and removed the information I wanted to remove.
