The Stig (or Stigs, since we're told there are now many of them on rotation) makes an appearance in FM5 ...which is ironic, given what ex-Stig (Ben Collins) thinks of FM4 (see his Reddit AMA thread)

Round 4 - LeMans Endurance Event Instead of 3 races we just had our first endurance event of the season. Found one of my old Excel spreadsheets back from when we did IGPManager to work our my fuel/tyre strategies (taking the possibility of rain into consideration), which made up for some of my driving talent (or lack thereof). Finished with a decent position too. Now who's going to sit there and watch this for the next hour & a half? :hmmm: -
We should organise a race with the Cobra on a nice drifty track like this As you can see my handling of that car was greatly improved over the previous attempt (a few posts above) :)

GTA V {DT} - IT'S OUT AND IT'S SOOOOO GOOOD!!
Ryzza5 replied to superhyper's topic in Gaming Discussion
Well they certainly have the money to justify working around the clock and renting more servers  I guess withholding as much info as possible until release day is an effective marketing strategy. I wonder what effect doing the total opposite (WMD) will have effect on pCARS when it launches. -

Search specific game of racing-game/sim

The games that get you to turn the way all the way in one direction, and then hold the wheel at 90 degrees as part of the setup usually have the best feel as it takes all the guesswork out of it. Can't remember changing wheel rotation settings but I do recall adjusting the pedal sensitivity to around 41%. Also as I recall the handling felt better with the first of the PC patches (plus a tire mod), I never got it to feel as good with the second patch/DLC. -
After the league racing at Cape Ring, asuka decided that the Alfa's weren't drifty enough, and this is what resulted  I wasn't recording the mic channel but we were literally laughing for the entire event.

Round 3 - Cape Ring Inside I thought Cape Ring was my second-worst track, but along with a lack of preparation (and spending 24 hours at LeMans in the Red Bull X1 which has very different physics) this is probably one of my worst results ever. Some hard racing moments scattered within -

hmm, I never bothered trying to remember all my old DOS games (if I still have them - although many are accessible for free online at various websites)

Can't really think of many others. Maybe have a look at NetKarPro and SimRaceWay - can't remember what they had in the way of setup options (if any) -

Sorry I disappeared from the chatbox Milli - I am in fact doing work at home just to keep up with deadlines on the (too many) projects I'm on, since numerous people are likely going to lose their job (hopefully not me) this year as well. My boss (who is also a friend) is being treated similar to you, being excluded from projects to make it easier to let him go, although not telling them yet. I seem to be the only one who knows how to do certain things (or do them well), and as a result I haven't had an uninterrupted holiday since the end of 2011 (I just take days off here and there which is usually from me working extra). Besides this, I'm busily working to hand over my enjoyable work tasks (IT Systems duties) to other external providers while at the same time receiving inadequate training in filming and post-production + animation and being treated like I'm now an expert. This week I've had to drop my IT migration project to film something, and now I have until Friday to complete it. Which wouldn't be so bad if we had proper equipment, and software that worked well. Adobe Premiere CS5 has a bug that means chroma key (green-screen) doesn't work. Adobe have acknowledged it on their forums. They've fixed it in newer versions of Premiere. But they're obviously not going to fix it in CS5, which is what I've got at work. Same story with Acrobat PDF Maker - Acrobat Pro X is compatible with Office 2010 but not 2013. But why should they bother fixing that when we can just go and buy Acrobat XI which does support Office 2013, even if it has no other appreciable new features. Then there's Final Cut Pro X on the Mac. Looks pretty good. Chroma key works really well. But the editor is just horrid to work with. There's no precision. Clips randomly get locked together. Adding basic transitions ruins the timing of my clip cuts. I can't even move the clips or trim them without breaking the transitions either. So I brought some clips home today to try with Sony Vegas Pro 12. Far and away the best editor for arranging clips on the timeline. But it won't import the .mov files even after installing QuickTime. And then when I convert the files I discover the chroma key function is absolute rubbish, so it's pointless to continue. The only good news is that while each of those expensive video production tools is average at fixing up the hissy audio, the free Audacity software is brilliant at it, so there's one thing sorted... on my day off. My only advice Milli is to do your best not to let your emotions show in dealing with your boss. Their reasons may just be excuses for some other hidden agenda, but if you remain calm you may be able to use them as a good reference to help you get other work elsewhere if that is indeed where things are heading. If you truly are the best person among your colleagues then it sounds like a mistake on their part to let you go, and they may realise it later and possibly invite you back. (And if they do see if you can get a pay-rise )
