  1. I voted for :) since I'm always trying to freak people out by opening my car windows remotely (using the key fob).
  2. When you've played a lot of driving games and driven in real life, car control becomes second nature. Sure, different types of cars require small adaptions to keep them on the road, but after 2 minutes you can predict how a car will respond to situation and take measures to control it. Using a bunch of cars, you could not predict when the car would lose traction, and how it would respond - it was contrary to nature. As soon as you lost traction, you had no hope of controlling the slide, you couldn't turn the wheel fast enough, and if you could, you had no precision so instead of spinning out you'd fish-tail for a bit and lose speed speed.
  3. Who makes a car that long and only sticks 2 doors on it anyway :( :fp:
  4. Poll added - those who posted above can now vote officially.
  5. Considering you can write whatever you want on the car itself, I don't think personal number plates would be a problem, or be 100% necessary.
  6. Cool. Shame we don't get to witness stuff like that much nowadays.
  7. Just send an email to the address in the error message like it asks you to explaining your situation. They can increase the number of activations if they want.
  8. Welcome. There's a few sim fans here too, of which I'm one.
  9. Or like BobbyVey, Dustwave, pyrre, Andrius, maroonstigjlr, etc, etc. :)
  10. Ouch - I don't like this one bit - and the name is even worse - how do you even pronounce that? Makes Hyundai seem easy to pronounce :p
  11. Those who I played with who customised their cars generally did a good job (better than me anyway). Shadow had awesome dark red stripes on his black Audi Q7. Someone (perhaps Dan) had an L plate on the front of his car - and someone else wrote their name/alias on both sides of their car - looked very good. I'm sure some people will try to ruin their Ferrari as much as possible :)
  12. Besides the force feedback - I didn't like how he said the handling was 'unpredictable', which has been my experience as well previously.
  13. :fp: The Skyline comes with the 1.66a patch - so everyone should have that. Go see if you can enter the Lexus dealer up north to be sure - but if he hasn't bought it, I doubt he'll have it installed.
  14. I don't suppose you've read the thread title recently, Spongie? :p

    Swedes!

Does this mean you're not going to change his name every two months now Mellors, or am I going to have to wonder why there's a new random member who is a mod? :p

I'm sure that apron will fit you even better Jazzi (if Spongie's description is correct) I've changed my mind - I'll be Barbeque Bloke. :p

Sure - here have my apron :)
  18. I was going to suggest atari.com.au but that site doesn't even load for me :) I purchased it twice from a USA Metaboli online store when it first game out.
  19. Well - I have a Golf Comfortline (158PS) I think. First thing I did was upgrade the ECU software via APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW Porsche and Skoda Vehicles. (I'm sure they're available in Europe too) for an extra 45 BHP (203BHP) and extra 80 nm of torque (320), which is awesome for a 1.4L engine (supercharged and turbocharged). Yesterday - I installed a SprintBooster plug in between the throttle pedal and the controller which removes the Electronic Throttle Control lag that most new cars have, which really unlocks the torque in my car.

What about Who - don't I get to move up from tea thingie to milkshake man first?
  21. I honestly think if the physics were like GRID - those who wanted more of a sim would sigh but get over it. But when Eden keep asking for feedback and say they're working to bring back H mode and make it better, only to find each new update is still horrendous, makes this little proverb ring true: "Expectation postponed is making the heart sick". :)
