Introducing 'Gran Turismo Sport' Newest Update: Adding Japan’s ‘AUTOPOLIS’ International Circuit and 5 New Cars
Gran Turismo Sport has received an update on the 05 Match 2019.

The following is a list of contents included with Update 1.34:
1. 5 of the the most iconic cars of the past have been added.

2. The 'AUTOPOLIS' race track, an international racing circuit of western Japan, has been added.
・AUTOPOLIS INTERNATIONAL RACING COURSE
Total Length: 4,674m, Elevation Change: 52m, Number of corners: 18, Longest Straight: 902m

The 'AUTOPOLIS' is a notable race track located in the middle of a mountain range in the Oita Prefecture of Kyushu, the southwestern island of Japan. It is known for its challenging layout, and while sector 1 is a simple high speed section, complex consecutive corners of all speed ranges await the driver in sectors 2 and 3. With a maximum upward slope of 7.2% and 10% downward, there are plenty of ups and downs on this track, and driving a full lap without a mistake requires high concentration. In addition to the International Racing Course layout, a Short Cut Course that makes Turn 10 the final corner has also been included.




3. The following 'GT League' event, where the 'Supra' takes centre stage, have been added:
■ Supra Legend (Amateur League)
A special race event for the Supra, a line of high powered front engine rear wheel drive Toyota sportscars developed for racing.

In addition, the following new rounds have also been added to the GT League:

■ Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the 'Mazda Roadsters Cup'.

■ Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the 'Mazda Roadsters Cup +'.

■ Professional League
2 new rounds added to the 'Premium Sports Lounge'.
2 new rounds added to the 'All Japan GT Car Championships'.

■ Endurance League
1 new round added to the 'Gr.3 Endurance Series'.
4. More additional features have been added.
SCAPES
'AUTOPOLIS' have been added to the special featured section.


There will be various other features, improvements and fixes implemented in this update. Please enjoy the continuing evolution of Gran Turismo Sport.

Perhaps a single-line text field can be added to user profiles which displays in the post-bit on the side? This can be used to hyperlink to a project or YouTube channel.

Well, from the 411 cars listed in the first post, S ends on 378. That would mean it's about 92% done if the unlisted cars have the same letter ratio as the listed ones. 😂 
Now, if Milli keeps the same pace, there have been 412 days since she's done the first post on 26th of December 2017. If we're 92% done, that would mean that there are about 36 days left until she's done with the cars. A bit over a month then. 😀
Thing is, there are probably other things she'll have to do after finishing with the cars as well, and we don't know what are the unlisted cars as well. So, many variables either way. 
And yes, I'm quite a nerd. 😂

I think that's mostly fine, in TDU's case i'd just adjust it a little bit to

Perhaps it possible (and nearly ethical) to have multiple classes here:
* Promoted mods (threads) from the authors who want the credit (and have working links)
* A large, somewhat unrefined archive/collection of old TDU mod files from our collective HDDs with no credit, fancy images, or installation support.   Not designed as a "pack" but more-or-less as a 'data dump'.  tduck's approach wouldn't be to promote them but say "hey here's a bunch of old mod files we found, maybe they will work if you download a copy."
We could also do our best to contact some of the old modders and let them know what we want to do.  If they object then that's fine; if we hear nothing back then we'll proceed.  If they come back later then we can follow their wishes.  This is just an idea only.

I was happy that most people I wrote to, while disappointed, were happy to comply.  But at the same time I knew that once you put something on the Internet, you're unlikely to be able to remove all traces of it.

I used to use an app like this designed for pCARS back when I was racing in an online league to compare lap times with everyone else while on a straight section of road to work out if I should push a bit harder or reduce the risk of spinning. If I was still racing I would be into this kind of thing on my old tablet.

I don't have much experience with home/studio mics but I was surprised at how well my new noise cancelling headphones replace the sound of my keyboard with silence, so the suggestion above pertaining to microphones with noise cancellation features may be worth looking into.
 
I would also suggest searching YouTube for something like '2018 best gaming microphone'...
(1) even if you are not gaming, the requirements will be similar - good voice quality, doesn't pick up unwanted noises
(2) YouTube videos will give you some auditory comparison on how they sound

Yes I do a whole lot of everything but am time-poor as a result. I found some good Black Friday deals so I upgraded a bit more than originally planned. My current PC lasted 6.5 years and I expect this one to do the same. I'd rather do this than spend half as much on a PC but twice as often.
 
Rich? Nah, I try live a simple life then occasionally feel like splurging occasionally. I'll be able to write some of it off as a tax deduction.

All parts are in hand besides the new CPU and M.2 SSD which should be delivered early next week. I'll probably wait for the next series of GPU's before upgrading that. At the moment I'm doing ok driving the 1440p 21:9 screen with the current GPU.

Thanks for your feedback. That is one of the Speedtree tree models that I have spent quite of resources for them, I manually optimized all of them!! They better look good 🙂 There are GBs of trees for the project, all the trees are on the real island. However, I have to do a research for their Palm, Coconut and Date trees more. Not sure if they have Chinese variants there or not.
And About the topology of the island: While I know canyons races and mountain roads are exciting for us car lovers, "drifters", and car gamers, I believe that is a nightmare for level designers as height map data is really a huge problem in both pre and post game level designing phases. Kish is a great place for the project, it is surrounded by water, nobody ever simulated that before which makes it unique. And although it is about two times bigger than GTA V's map, it is almost a desert - just like Dubai - and it is almost flat which makes me able to design the project. Back in the day when I was starting to "simulate" the island, I wanted to test and simulate another place where there are mountains and it is much more beautiful than Kish IMO -also it is in Iran. and when I opened its GIS data, my whole laptop was about to explode - I use one mid-level laptop with 8GB of RAM to design the game. And at that time there was not a plugin or a good "GIS data to mesh" converter or anything like that, I made the whole island by myself manually in 3DS Max and with custom scripts for Unity, which took around a year or so.
So not only technical limitation but also time limitation is one of the reasons I chose the small, flat and cozy Kish island. More about these things to come to its official website.
But don't worry, I already have thought about that. The project's name is "Around The Ground" for a reason, there is a possibility that I add another place to it when possible.

I like the detailed city streets, and the wind effect on the trees.
My main concern is that the island seems more desert-y, and particularly seems to lack any mountainous areas of elevation of any kind, which makes driving more fun imo.
