Ok, let`s sum up thing. 10 cars from 2008, which were the fastest/slowest, most pretty/most ugly, most mean/girly and etc. ;)

 

Good

1. Nissan GT-R - the epic return of an epic car :thumbsup:

2. Koenigsegg CCXR Edition - the updated CCXR :twisted:

3. Ferrari F430 Scuderia - amazing car based on the amazing F430

4. Opel Insignia - a great car, the perfect replacement for the Vectra

5. VW Scirocco - finally a sporty, mean car from VW

6. Audi RS6 Avant - the best touring car ever made :cool:

7. Mercedes SL65 AMG - better than the SLR and that means a lot :twisted:

8. Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - beautiful and fast, it`s a Lambo :thumbsup:

9. Jaguar XF - the best luxury car from Jaguar

10. Maserati GranTurismo S - astonishing car, just needs more power :D

Bad

1. Alfa MiTo - sorry but it`s just a copy of Fiat Punto with an ugly face

2. Cadillac Escalade Hybrid - oh, please...:oook:

3. Renault Koleos - ugly, uglier, Koleos, and it`s not for off-road :cheeky:

4. Ferrari California - fix that ugly rear :twisted:

5. Mercedes CLC - dammit, even the old one was better :rolleyes:

6. Subaru Impreza - ruined...:-x

7. Seat Altea Freetrack - who thought that was a good idea...:confused:

8. Hyundai Sonata - big car, small engine

9. Chevrolet Traverse - OMG, it`s a...:cry:

10. Mini Clubman - ok, first the original one ruined and now this...:mad:

I would try to defend GM's name here since the list you have posted is a bit ridiculous. But since it is your opinion, and i don't want to start a flame war, I will hold my tongue...

Nice list, but come on, that Insignia CAN'T be a Vauxhall, it's wayy too nice, it looks like a new Lexus or something. And I quite liked the Alfa MiTo, and an Escalade Hybrid is a very good idea.

Aside from the fact is can't corner at low speeds and it's only good as a high speed track car, it was released in 2007 :p.

I love the new Ferrari, would be in my top 10 and apart from a few classics is the Ferrari I want the most now.

And also - number 4 on the bad list... Ferrari California. Don't fix the back! FIX THE MUTHA......... FRONT! The back is beautiful.

 

And one more thing. Get rid of the Mini Clubman from the bad list - its brilliant looking!

 

The Opel/Vauxhall Inisgnia. Its still a Vectra, and changing the name will not make it any different. Remember the Cavalier? Yeah changing that name to Vectra really made it a better car didn't it!

 

And the Ferrari F430 Scuderia is just too nerdy. Clarkson's review of the Gallardo Spider a while back describes the problem perfectly. You don't buy a Ferrari to be cool. I would put the new Aston V8 there. Its the most beautiful car ever made, and now has the power to match its shape. And even before it got an upgrade, I would still rather have it over pretty much anything.

Many people take Jeremy Clarkson's word to be law, which is not a good idea.

 

Mr. Clarkson has his TV show because he loves to di it and make quite good money doing so. He does wonderful reviews of cars and does very extensive reviews on them. But when it comes down to it, what he says about the car is not what the manufacturer said, not what the market said, and most of the time, not even what his co-hosts said. Everything he says his his opinion and should not be taken so seriously

I'm glad the Vauxhall/Opel Insignia is there too. I just saw the commercial today and I thought it was something by Lexus or Peugeot (you know, the high tech ones) and it was a Vauxhall. I think i'm in love with it.

this is a statement based upon the Top Gear review of the Cadillac XLR I am assuming. If so, you should be aware that the XLR and Escalade use different transmissions. Not only that, but the Escalade Hybrid cannot really be critiqued because it should really not exist. Cadillac had no intentions to build a hybrid model of any of their SUVs but were sort of forced too to make Green Peace and the EPA happy. The hybrids are not selling well and are not meant too.

Common Tata ruined those Jags. The XJ is the best luxury car from Jaguar. Altough the quality isnt always good.

Have you ever seen it ? Its a awesome looking car. It has a lott of details from the 8C (you got to love that one). And the interior is really cool.

I dont see the ulgy thinks. It looks really good, altough its more a face lift. And you probably like the interior, because that's from the "old" one :p

Right, well i'm a big Mini fan so i dont think the same like you. The original mini is a great car, drives like a kart and good quality (thanks to BMW :D)

Not many cars have made a good comeback like the mini. The beetle failed.

 

The only bad point i can think off the Clubman is the price. Because it's really expensive (definitively in Holland because off our stupid tax :mad:)
