EviLSkater i can't unzip the mod.. can enyone tell me how to do it? plzzz help ////////// you need the part o this is a zip part with this can you unzip the other parts

 

1. Go to WinZip.com and download the trial for WinZip v14.

2. Install WinZip.

3. Rename all the ZIP files so that the first part is the same:

 

i.e. TDU-Winter.zip, TDU-Winter.z01, ... TDU-Winter.z12

 

4. Open WinZip, open the TDU-Winter.zip file.

5. Select the Euro Folder, click Extract, choose a place to extract to.

6. Go to C:\Program Files\Atari (or whereever TDU is installed).

7. Select the Test Drive Unlimited folder, and copy and paste it to the same folder.

8. Rename 'Copy of Test Drive Unlimited' to 'Test Drive Unlimited - Winter'

9. Go into the new TDU Winter folder, right click the game exe file, and create a shortcut to the desktop. Rename the desktop shortcut to TDU Winter.

10. Uninstall WinZip. It's rubbish. 7-zip is much better, and is free (open source).

11. Copy the extracted Euro Folder and paste it inside the TDU Winter folder you created in step 8.

12. Double-click the TDU Winter icon on your desktop to see what's new. You'll later want to make more changes. If you want to play TDU normally, use your old TDU icon for it.

Hello, i'm autor of torrent but i maybe forgot to joint to torrent a part 0 *.zip

Yes, but this leafs. "Feuille" in particles.bnk, use the modified particles.bnk for snowflakes.

I'm using modified particles. So far I didn't saw any snowflake... :(

i did exacly same as u said and same as in 1st post but no effect :(((

 

same was on my machine. Try another road-snow-mod. On my machine the tree colored white, only after installing a snowy-road-mod the hole enviroment turned white. I use 18wos extrem one and it works, as u can see in my pictures :).

something is very weird

I backuped all files that you wrote above

and I extracted it and paste & overwrite it

however, after I got done with this

No snow :(

the main menu of the game changed, GPS Changed, and the brightness of the land changed but,

the most important thing, SNOW does not show

What's wrong with mine?

I tried over 10 times but, it always looks like that

which means, I wasted my precious time!!!!!!!!!!!

Saleen_S7 : If you have .z01 file in other folder you must locate it. You use WinRar? IN my i located file and click next and be OK : )

 

I have all the files in the same folder, I try to extract the zip file, but it says that didn't find the z01, I locate it than click ok and it shows these errors:

-It was not possible to open the z01 file

-The system couldn't find the file

-error on trying opening the file

-invalid identification

 

and yes, I use winrar

i also had that problem. i had to reinstall TDU, and install it again.

 

one tip: just back-up all your files in "Euro" folder so you don't have to download all your mods again;)

 

it will ta a while, but its worth the wait:thumbsup:
