And I have no idea about the new teaser, people keep saying it's an XF-R, but i don't think it is personally.

I think its an XF-R too, the exhausts look a lot like the ones found in an XF-R.

polyphony did the internal computer IIRC, so it'll probably have no digital display, or if they want to kick microsoft in the teeth, make the license require the display to be showing a GT5 advert...

No big deal, most of the racing cars don't have it. :p The R34's computer display doesn't work either. So either way you look at it, no big deal. :p

I also think the most likely candidate is the XFR.

The shot is pretty well masked to hid its obvious features. But the shape of the join/panel gap is what sells it for me. Plus most other cars that are worthy of being in FM3 all have exhausts within the bumper and not below it... :p

because Forza 3 is a direct competitor on a different system, and a potential system seller in the same way that GT5 is for playstation. i imagine they want ANYTHING to their advantage when it comes to GT5's launch (hey, i might be able to afford a PS3 when i get my pension...)

The US guy that made it probably couldn't find an RHD image of a GTR so just flipped a LHD one to show the wiper detail...

I think it will end up in the game because forza 3 did come with race version of the r35.

 

From the theory i came up with was they ran out of time to add it into the game on release date or they just want to make more money from us having to pay ms points for it!

They didn't want FM3 to have the GT-R. So T10 just made the SpecV. :D

I'm thinking that's how they got around the licensing issues with the standard GTR.

 

As for the racing version being in the games, I'll just tell you very briefly that racing cars have a different method of licensing opposed to production cars. ;)
