Hallo evryone!!!

It's realy Great mod!!!! I found that at 11 and 17 o'clock (EU Germany time) is fog time evry day. The weather is synchronised with the server time (not on PC - tryed to change). My brother have installed this mod too and he has fog weather at the same time.

In the fog time is only a little bug with the shadow. you can't see traffic cars if it far from you but you can see shadow from this car.

it will take hours in 50 units. i made mine 30 and from morning to evening is 10-15mintues.

 

Which criterion did you edit from 50 to 30? Is it FOGSTART?

no its hos fast the time runs. 30 is faster, 50 is slower, its in WeatherDesc.ini

nooo, no, this changes only the time scale, to remove the fog you have to remove the whole weather packs....

mine is always foggy. how do i change that? it bugs me a lot losing races due to fog:mad:

Always foggy for me too, never ever seen the other weathers.

Foggy guys :D, solution to your problem is pretty easy.

 

Choosing weather you want is really easy.

 

Just go to x:\Games\Atari\TestDriveUnlimited\Euro\Bnk\FX and open WeatherDesc.ini

 

And delete/reorder lines you don't want. For example:

 

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_MORNING_TB1" ""

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_AFTERNOON_TB1" ""

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_AFTERNOON_TB1" ""

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_EVENING_TB1" ""

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_NIGHT_TB1" ""

StaticCfg = "FREERIDEWEATHER_NIGHT_M" ""

 

You don't like fog? Want to drive by night when you start up your game? Just put last line NIGHT_M at first place instead of MORNING_TB1. That's pretty much it. Try to find your own config that suits you by moving/deleting lines.

 

You may also notice timescale. The larger the number is, the faster time changes.
