Features:

 

- 4 new set of weathers

a) fog

b) cloudless day

c) storm

d) sunny day with clouds

Each set of weather consists of night

You can enjoy a strong wind in a stormy day

 

- Each set of weather last 10x longer than standard weather

 

- This mod doesn't work with the HDR on, but don't worry - it's worth it!

 

- Mod is directed to more advanced players because with this it is nearly impossible to drive +200mph without crashing and visibility can drop even to 30-40m !

 

I would like to add that the Weather Mod works best with Japanese Autumn Mod and it was designed to fit the Autumn look really ;)

 

These two combined make TDU a brand-new experience ! Give it a try ! :)

Wow, the sunset in particular is amazing. The 2 cars watching the sunset is a bit cheesy imo, not for what the mod does but it's like something you would see in Cars 2. lol

 

It would be great if we could get the creator/author on to thank him.

So how do I get it to go onto my TDU? I read the Readme but I didn't really get what it was saying.

I took it for granted that you just copy and paste the weatherfiles to Euro/Bnk/FX? :cheeky:

So just backup the files Weather and WeatherDesc in the FX folder then put the mod files in?

I think so, judging by the fact that there are two files with exactly those names in that folder

LoL :D It says copy - paste the files to the FX folder ;) simple :)

He hasn't confirmed his activation email that he should have received upon registering.

 

I have now activated his account so he shouldn't have any issues getting on now. :D

I'm glad that I could do something for other TDU players. I hope all of you discover the game again, spending many hours chasing the sun sets and sun rises (it gave me and my friends a lot of fun), racing with others in mountains by night or fog.... what can I say? Have a good fun!!!

i realy liked that sunset mode, but i think theres shuld be a little more of the nice wether. like more blue sky. i think there whuld have been better with a little less fog;)

but thats in mine opinion...

Bah, for me it won't change! I can tell its there by looking through the ToD in photo mode, but it won't change. :(

great mod, but I always play 30 minutes of TDU and it's not enough to the weather change, would be nice if it was like 15 minutes in each type of weather.

But the weather could change faster imo.
