Drift ?? In AWD ?? do u know what drift is ?? Dirft is always RWD and AWD how did u call that "drift" is called Power Sliding ;)))))

Rallying is nothing more than drifting on dirt.

If you think you can't "drift" with a 4WD car, then maybe you should go watch Gymkhana 1 and 2, Ken Block going nuts at abandoned airports using full Rally and Drift techniques.

What you call "powersliding" is more technically known as "Power Over", a DRIFTING technique detailed in Keiichi Tsuchiya's Drift Bible.

Most tight sliding Rally turns are actually initiated in two major ways, Handbrake turns, and the well known "Scandinavian Flick", also known as Kansei Drifting.

Usually, drift cars are light to moderate weight rear-wheel-drive coupes and sedans over a large range of power levels. In Japan and worldwide, the most common drift vehicles are the Nissan Silvia/180SX/200SX/240SX, Toyota AE86, Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8, Infiniti G35 Coupe, Nissan A31 Cefiro, Nissan C33 Laurel, Nissan Skyline (AWD versions, such as the GT-R, are often converted to RWD.... Text copied from a japanese book about drift.... Drift Always Was and Always Be RWD !! Power sliding and stuff like that will newer be counted as a drift

P.S. Just Found Something in that book about the car we r talking here ;)) There have also been 4WD rally cars that have been converted to RWD, such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

Gymkhana as u said it not really a drift coz proper drift is always in a RWD car :)

Peace PPl :)

P.S.2 U Knw m8 u could be right here... Ive just read some more about drift and as I Can see there r so many competitions Involving RWD, AWD and FWD.... Drift has changed so much Since Late 80's... So I Know Im Wrong Now and Im Sorry :) But it doesnt change the way I Feel about drift :) For Me Drift will always be in RWD only as it beggined :)
