That said, I once got a 1:26 something while racing my brother split screen in those cars (I thrashed him due to the practicing), so maybe there's still hope (if I have another go, that is).

Probably not with the sports tires, I wouldn't be able to get much more out of the car. I was clipping the cones on the apexes as it was.

Just had another go - I can't beat my ghost as I took every corner perfect besides the hammerhead and second-to-last - where I could squeeze a tad more, but I'm always behind my ghost when I get there.

 

It would be interesting to export/import each others ghosts to see how similar they are :)
