can i run this thing?

 

can i run it isnt very helpfull it says i cant run TDU1 while i can easily run it

yeah you can but you'd need to run it on low-medium-ish settings probably. And I'd replace win7 with xp because it might slow you down.

^ It's been ok so far. The only problem is, you launch it though your browser. Quite interesting. I have a feeling they are testing their new "Origin" program just as much as the new game.

The launching is fine. It's just the fact that none of the guns I have can kill anyone properly. I can be stood right behind an enemy that's not moving and shoot 10 to 15 bullets into their back before they die or turn around and kill me.

 

Yet I get killed after 2 or 3 hits on me by the same weapons. I don't know what's wrong with it but something isn't right and I'm up for not getting the game now and saving the cash instead. BF was and still is fine. *shrug*

Yeah that gun is beast. It was an unlock in the Alpha. Very well modeled.

That gun was my favourite, back from BF2 days. Last time I've played a game that had it was CoD4. I'm so happy I'll get to pwn again with it. :p

I guess server browsing is going to be a tad bit more difficult now..

The tables have turned. A day after we gladly reported that console gamers would be getting this great PC feature called “server browser”, we can now report that PC gamers won’t have an in-game server browser. DICE’s Alan Kertz has confirmed that in order to switch servers, you have to exit Battlefield 3, and use Battlelog to find another server and join.

Granted, Kertz points out that BF3 “starts up really fast”, but we can’t imagine it being more effective than having an in-game server browser, which has been the norm in PC games for decades — in fact, there’s no other game that requires you to exit in order to switch servers.

Considering that server switching is frequent among gamers, either because of rage quitting or trying to find a better game, or something third, this could cause some annoyance. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out (no pun intended) when Battlefield 3 is released. So far, it’s kinda disappointing news, but we’ll see how it turns out in the end.

Console gamers now have in-game server browser, while PC gamers don’t. Oh the irony.

If it is anything like the Alpha, it shouldn't be too bad though you do find servers through your browser and we all know how many resources that takes up..

I don't really see the problem with lack of in-game server browser. I usually don't change servers every 5 minutes or if the game starts to annoy me I simply shut it down. Shame though there are just few jets, I was hoping that MP5 smg will be back (atleast they could add HK53 as a carbine), but there is UMP, so it's ok. I'm quite excited about sniper class weapons, looking foward to have my hands on M40 and M82 (I'm curious if .50 round will do major damage to enviroment, as it does irl), especially with bipods.

Well if you join a random server to find out it is full of CoD players, then it's quite a process to find a new one lol.
