Yeah definitely seems to be more and more people appearing on here who has pCars. The leaderboard challenge really needs a big kick at some point and some motivation for people to enter especially with the amount of people that seem to have it on here. Im busy over the next couple of weeks but then will jump straight back in at the deep end and compete with the challenge :)

Some discussion regarding SMS are wanting to see from members:

Basically those who join and then never post and rarely play might not do as well as those who are active... not really sure how it works tbh.

Well they wouldn't be able to play the game anyway in that case, but if they come in now they at least have a chance to make some money (and if they have consoles they can always get the game for one of those when it comes out). =)

You don't have to participate in the development of the game to reap the benefits. =)

Thats not true, I thought you have to participate, posting in forums and playing game, otherwise you can be declined money earned or even the free game... its in the PDF, no?

Nope, that's not true. Wire money and you're in.

Nope, this is not an investment. You need to participate to the project (where the most basic way to do it, is to run the client, so you're actually testing the game), in fact you are purchasing a "Tool Pack", you're not just throwing money in. Also, more you're involved, more benefits you may earn (this includes money benefits: see in example the members promotions).

Ok, so as long as you have loaded and played the game a few times over the next year, you are ok...dont need to post here, etc? Is that in writing, I mean the details?

Cheers!

At <= Full member level you'll get what you spent in terms of the final game discount so you won't lose anything per se, maybe just miss out on an opportunity to earn more. No-one will post a hard and fast rule otherwise those who don't care about helping will just spam to get over that yardstick. If you can't play the game you can still make some suggestions based on reading the forums and watching YT footage I guess. If you have any creative skills these are useful too. or you can just help spread the word to others.

Are member promotions the only example Vit or is there some other secret formula we haven't been putting into our spreadsheets? :)

From the terms and conditions: "Making a contribution to the game" ....there's no details, since you cannot determine if playing the game (in example) 10 times each month is "enough" to be considered a (fair) contribution.

If you're involved into testing the build (ie: playing each build available for your level, participating to the online tests (when available), ... etc.) this can be considered a "contribution"; ...playing the build one time, then playing it again a couple of months after (or not playing it at all)... wouldn't be a "contribution".

The ideal WMD member would: play the game regularly, follow (reading and participating) to this forum, propose (or even create) contents to be included into the game, create media material (advertising).
