I meant fastest for me at that time, then I did another race and now my fastest is 1:38.650 :P

Hehe, told you mine was slow (I couldn't keep my eyes open between corners due to how tired I was) :p

 

Also it's hard to know which sections of the track you can go off near the start/finish line without being penalised.

Get back on track before or just on the red bit is what I do.

Yeah I'd worked that bit out (although sometimes it's faster to not go wide there at all if you get the line and entry speed just right). You can also go wide before the last corner which sometimes allows a faster speed on the pit straight (then the extra speed stuffs up your braking reference for turn 1 and you go wide) :lol:

What's the difference between stock car road, stock car oval? Do they handle different?

I'd suggest the road version since we're not on an oval. There are two instances of the cars showing on the leaderboard website too (with no distinction, which I've since requested).
