Yes, although we can't deny they cheated by making things harder simply by changing the car weight to about 50kg

TDU2 had Hardcore mode added later after much fuss in the beta program, which was essentially SpinOut Mode

TDU's hardcore was just an assist setting, not a different physic model. Didn't bother with it because of that, the cars were nearly impossible to drive with all the oversteer, which was made into spinouts because TDU2's physics sucked.

To be honest, all we need for the next "TDU3" are a bunch programmers and a handful of modders.

But then again, I know nothing about making games. :hmmm:

GTR2 and GTL are some of the biggest racing games as far as modding goes, and Shift had a few mods as well, so who knows. Definitely looking forward to Assetto Corsa as well though.

Would it be at all possible to remake Oahu and port it to pCARS? It has at least one city car and driving a Mugen Atom on those roads would be ridiculous.

not a bad idea. Not sure how hard it would be to import that to the game but lets hope there will be enough mod support to do that in the first place.

TDU3 is already being made - might not be called that though.

TBH, I'd rather see Atari not bother at all. Let the TD series die out, and sell the trademark to someone who knows what they're doing. At the rate at which Atari is dying, I don't think we'd have to wait long. IMO it's the best way to get the TDU3 we wish for.
