I loved the detail of this game and the sounds, the radio chatter was quite fluid and real too but maybe too much for a tactical team to be saying. That WATCH_DOGS engine is fair lending itself to some utter quality. Ubisoft are still up for a risk which is great to see.

indeed, they are really going with the open world idea on their new games.

Pretty much all of their serious titles have open world

the story is about a virus taking down most of the population.

It's not a zombie game though. It is more realistic than that, people stay dead when they die :hmmm:

But yeah the whole economy collapses, the power and food supply chains stop working so you're out with other survivor groups.

It does say open world online game so it might even be mmo.

well if you look closely manhattan is 3d, you can see it from different angles, so I'm guessing the map includes the whole nyc not just brooklyn.

I really love the idea of a virus but without zombies, graphics are amazing. Looks like I need to upgrade my computer soon.

If only it were coming to PC. Looks like just Xboxuno and PS4 atm.

This will be my reason to buy a PS4, just as soon as someone figures out how to use a keyboard and mouse with it.

I doubt they'd just keep DUMBO as the entire map. Mapping out all of NYC would be difficult though, as they'd have to unrealistically cut off the map, like in GTA IV.

and for those who haven't been to nyc, lets say liberty city is only about 20% in proportion to real life, size considered.

But something that size would be enough to satisfy me.

Right after I graduated from secondary in 2009, I went to NYC. The night before I left, I did play GTA:IV for quite some time and you're right, Liberty City and NYC are wayyy different in terms of size.

Rumours about it coming to PS360 (PS3 & Xbox 360) too. Not sure that would be wise though as they would have to scale back a bit compared to having a fresh canvas to play with.

Yeah. Agreed. In general it's nice to see the new consoles will be running on DX11. No more DX9 PC ports!

They only ever mentioned the next-gen consoles as far as I remember. Unlike The Crew I don't think this games website sports a PC logo like it does.

Make sure to like their FB page and opt in on receiving notifications when they make a post. There are posts just about every day that add some insight and lore into the game.

Also, all the comments on their posts say PC!
