There we go: Philae managed to collect samples of the ''atmosphere'' of the comet right before it shut down. Initial analysis tells Philae collected organic molecules: Comet Landing 2014: Rosetta Probe Philae Discovers Organic Molecules: Report

 

Furthermore, it has been confirmed Philae is going to sleep until 2015. Although summer 2015 is the main period expected to resume mission activity, scientists think they can already continue communications with Philae a bit earlier. The rotation manoeuvre was successfull so the panels have a better chance of collecting sunlight. The current location might even offer the advantage of protection against overheating when the comet will be closer to the sun.
