released TDU 3D

So, i was going to publish a little bit, on each advent,

but instead there is one big present for the entire christmas time.

I hope this is ok :-).

 

 

This project is to 13% done,

but the result is so awesome and beautiful allready,

so i decided to release it yet.

 

The pictures show real representative ingame content.

You need red cyan glasses to see the 3d effect .

These are available at ebay at about 4 euros .

As soon as i released this, i found a program, that is able to calculate ALL graphics in not only TDU, making them 3d.

It is just awesome.

But it is needing nearly the double pc specifications, than the normal graphics in a game would do.

( Sun and moon are strangly not calculated by the program, in my version they are. :p )

 

So i continue with my modification, because it needs exactly the same power, like the game would without it.

Because i only change the textures to 3d, keeping the bitmap count and size at an original level.

Allthough it is not possible for me to change every texture in the game, and it is not as good as this program,

i find, there is no need to really change every texture, for having a nice 3d effect, TDUwise.

So for those with an older pc, stay with my mod.

 

For those with a strong pc, here it is.

It can make nearly every game out there, being presented in 3d.

Read the descriptions.

For the latest version there is a 3d videoplayer, that is needing additional codecs, in order to function.

I'm also amazed, how this player presents 2d pictures being 3d.

From where does it know, what is needing to be far, and what in near, it is awesome.

This looks really cool so far! I think this is a really good idea considering the Nvidia 3D thing works, but in my opinion is a sort of generic setting and does not look as good as this does.

Tnx a lot.

Since it can cope with a highly paid product like nvidea's technology,

i guess its worth keeping on working on it :-) .

Especially regarding the fact, that i only started it yet.

Some may say, no big thing, only a game, not a big fan of 3d.

For a single person like me its such a great fun yet.

TDU is just awesome.

Thinking this 3d mod using zero additional cpu ressources,

compared to almost the double amount with other techniques.

And it is maybe also better for the eyes, being a slightly, and not so strong effect.

Don't know if nvidea's 3d can be adjusted to be lighter.

IZ3D can be. But its also needing double cpu ressources.
