One of my favourite youtube-car-peoples. His reviews are beyond in depth, most videos are 20-40 minutes long with different segments. He'll go into the garage with his friend and look at the technical aspects of each car. Beautiful cinematography, very fair and unbiased reviews.

If you want your blood to boil beyond belief you have to watch vehicle virgins, he is hands down the most annoying car YouTuber you'll ever see in your life. Watched a video today and I had to vent my anger somewhere

Also movlogs an apparent car guy with a mustang and huracan, rides in bugattis but thinks a 488 has a v10 engine... Need I say more.

I imagine a fair few people have heard of him but I've only just recently started watching his videos, MotoManTV :) I can't imagine he is to everyone's taste but I quite like him.

Seen his vids before, he's pretty decent. :nods:

Meanwhile in London...

Instagram

How stupid does one have to be to act like this? My God! :fp2:

1. It's just an Aventador. A car.

2. There are millions of photos on the Internet. Most of them better than yours.

3. There are nicer things in the city than a yellow car.

4. Don't walk on the road.

5. If you've never seen one in flesh, take the precious chance to look at it thru your own eyeballs.

Just as bad if not worse than that in Casino Square, but I guess the speed people go through that and the reputation of it means it's not as bad.

In London? It's just rather unnecessary isn't it. Shmee said he doesn't carspot in London anymore because of the reputation carspotters have and how hated they are by the locals. Struggling to see how they can fix the issue though?

The spotters kinda ruined the experience for me in Monaco. Casino Square was crazy, yeah, but that was 4 years ago, so I guess it wasn't as bad as today.

Take the cameras and phones off their hands.

I despise most YouTubers and I find it funny how some people are saying things about people like Shhhmee but seemingly idolise others who do the same or are even worse! I don't get how all their apparel and affiliate links can go first and foremost before proper credits as how many people actually click to see more of the description? Ah wait, just answered my own question there.

So naturally I don't have many recommendations at all but two of my favourite automotive channels I can stand are:

Anyone here been keeping up to date with Salomondrin's channel?

I've warmed to him and a lot of his content but it's becoming increasingly apparent that there might be some sort of backhanded deal being done between him and Merc in LA to get airtime on his channel. It's getting a bit crazy now :hmmm: I don't think he's being transparent about it at all which is annoying. They basically turn up at the dealer and take whatever car they want for the day....... I think being suspicious of this agreement is okay.

No, but I've read the comments and lots of kids (literally kids) are saying he's not part of that club anymore. Same on Instagram. It's interesting that people care so much about some group of people in LA. Looks like the group is just selling merch now.

I guess if he wants the GT R and the new hyper car from Mercedes, he'll have to make some advertisement disguised as vlogs/"reviews."

Where does all the negativity towards Shmee come from? I think his content is okay, reviews many cars, has a nice garage, is a bit of a weird guy but content wise, he has one of the best automotive YouTube channels if you ask me.

Complaints about his clothing style or him looking like arse or his accent is annoying or something, those are things that you can't help and even if he acknowledges it himself, it's brave to still film yourself and appearing online.

I'm just not sure i'll ever warm to someone who has their nickname embroidered on every single piece of clothing they own. I'm sure he's an alright guy but I just think his content isn't worth watching for a few reasons. A lot of it comes down to how he and a few other vloggers act as if they're really providing an amazing life changing experience to viewers, 'this is for you' etc, it's not, you're getting rich off of it, don't sugar coat it.

Also worth looking at is exactly what @Milli was highlighting in the chatbox a few days back, there are a few suspicious things surrounding the Hurucan Superformante 'ring lap time: BLOG: Did Lambo that laptime? | BridgeToGantry.com

This is true though. I mean, I've seen in the comments on YT or FB that some people feel "close to owning his cars" but it'll never be a real experience, it's just somebody who, indeed, has an above average life and doesn't hesitate to show that. However, his reviews are pretty good, you can see his passion for cars in his reviews, and of course we all know that the money is a good reason to keep this up, but don't all YouTubers?
