help! TDU1 now...

I wanted to play TDU1. Game installed, Megapack installed, game is running and...

I have big lags when I'm playing. Traffic is generated randomly, I'm hitting invisible cars, game is totally unplayable...

How to run it properly?

If you could provide more info about your system specifications and OS it would be a good starting point. :)

Do any of those patches modify traffic (i.e. add limousines, etc)? Because that's the usual cause

This is how I was installing back in the day

 

Install legit game

Apply 1.6A patch

Install megapack

Install 1.68 patch

Test game

 

Always worked.

Got the original CD game? I've tried pirated versions in the past and they all had problems.

Yes, Megapack original too. Polish language version can be cause of the problem?

PL version is the same as 'TDU Gold' edition I think. 1.68b is not compatible with it.

 

You should try 2.00A (full package) instead:

Only 'issue' you will encounter is replaced PL language. You have to set english language in game.

Always make sure that you run those installers as administrator. Might help with errors.

Java does not seem to be installed properly indeed.

 

But if you got FULL version extracted to your TDU directory (replace files), you don't have to launch anything (Patch HD settings are not required to play the game anyway).

4. Instalujesz 1.67 Patch (jeżeli jest błąd, że nie odnaleziono instalacji tdu to albo używasz takiego programu, żeby to zfixował LUB przenosisz ręcznie pliki z folderu DB, DB LANGUAGE i XML) Zawszę mogę podesłać 1.67 bo trudniej go na necie znaleźć

5. Instalujesz 1.68B (I teraz nie ma mowy, że nie znajdzie ci ścieżki tdu ;v - POWINNO ZAINSTALOWAĆ AUTOMATYCZNIE)

(Tylko nie wiem czy nie bd miał problemów z tym carpackiem- przynajmniej crackowany mi nie działał)
