Test Drive Unlimited Central Gumball 3000 Challenge

TDU-Central Gumball 3000 7th May 2007

 

TDU-Central is proud to present the first Gumball 3000 rally.

 

On the 7th May 2007 @ 6pm the start of the rally will be at the Lamborghini dealership south of the Island. The route is from here taking the west coast road all the way north to the McLaren dealership. From here we continue along the east coast road back to the Lamborghini dealership Gumball style.

 

The cars can be anything you want, except the Saleen S7 and the Koenigsegg (Only when tuned, Stock are allowed!), the more outrageous the colour the better. So start mixing up those paints and prepare to burn some rubber.

We are currently still making small challenges within the race, so the total route isn't finished yet. We hope you like the idea, and that we will definately have fun.

 

The Route:

On Checkpoint 4 you can change your car for the Mini Challenge. The challenge is approximately 40km long. At checkpoint 5 you have to take the "regular" car again!

At each checkpoint you have to write down who finishes after you.

We will wait for eachother at each checkpoint so we don't get lost.

At the end of Day 1 you have to give all the positions to me so we can make a table who is on numer 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and last but not least, 8.

Hey Martijn, as i said in another post im up for this so add me to the list. I think scale might be up for it also (well he would like to) im not sure though will get back to you or he can post himself :P.

 

Do you need any help with anything regarding this because im here if you need me! ;)

The only thing i need at the moment is a Huge map of the island on which i can see all the roads. If anyone could help me getting one, i really appreciate it!

Well, open it in windows movie maker and save it again. Then 10 minutes of filming would be 50mb Max! But we only film small parts of nice driving styles, overtaking and so on ;)

Changed some bits, now added numbers to the checkpoints etc.

Also made a Legenda on the top right :D

Checkpoint 1 to 4 we will do on day 1.

Checkpoint 4 to 1 we will do on day 2.

If we have delay or connection problems, we just do it the next day.

Well guys would have liked to join you all in your quest of burning rubber in the Gumball 3000.

But sadly 6pm is impossible due to work especially on a monday.
