Im not picking on TSS or anything but this is what i was talking about before. people with high end rigs or 1337 photoshop skills will always win. IMO we need some catagories for future POTW's (ingame,photoshop,with HDR,without HDR etc)

Anyhoo i vote for AMG'ed up cos he let me be in a few of his photo's a while back :)

You're not meant to photoshop anything other than a border I think I said in the first competition. So it you think anyone's doing something more than this then let me know, as that would be unfair for those who can't do it :)

Find a post by S71NG3R and look at his sig. The effect HDR has is the light you can see bouncing off the water, and also off the top of his car. This is the same effect you can see is Davids photo, it's basically the active light effect behind and on the car making it more realistic. Ypur picture doesn't appear to have this effect, so I can only guess that you didn't have it turn on or yours is less evident because it is a cloudy day...

Just the effect on the city doesn't look like any TDU photos (with HDR) i've ever seen. There's no doubt that the car hasn't been tampered with, but yeah the city looks a bit iffy

Basically i was at the pier on the south of the island and i was flicking through the times of the day and the weather effects and i basically got this effect. I really liked it so i entered it for the comp, simple! ;)

To prove that i have not cheated i have attached the exact picture i took from the game from ym Test Drive Unlimited folder in My Documents :

Also my vote went to S71NG3R as i really liked his picture and i'm sure that was taken when him and myself were cruising in SL65's :D

thanks for votes guys, I did change the lighting in the pic tho and made it a lil sharper so I duno, its kinda unfair, I dont think you should count my picture

It should be allowed, cos mine was allowed in :) and that has been brightened to sharpen it and add more contrast.

Well not really...

as anyone can brighten their images if they put effort into it. Picasa 2 (by Google - free) lets the user do some very neat tricks via brightening, effects, filters and cropping, just like Photoshop does. The only advantage to photoshop is that it has many many features which can be used. However aren't used for a TDU PotW :)

So if you feel it's unfair then no-ones forcing you to enter :) - No offence as I like you, but when there are programs like Picasa around FOR FREE, then why complain ... we've gone to the trouble of actually buying Photoshop, then surely Picasa 2 being free (and with the same amount of tricks available for this nature) there's no argument to "being the underdog cos I cant brighten"

This is supposed to be about the actual picture NOT how well you can edit it. It should remain stock, with no photoshopping, UNLESS specified in the FIRST post that it should be photoshopped.

I thought the images were meant to be as they came out the game itself, AMG's has a white overlay with little opacity which where it looks good, it's clearly post edited and I thought that wasn't permitted in the actual entries to start with?

[+] It was only in the first one so I guess it was more of an unwritten rule.
