Online help

Hi all,

 

I can't seem to connect to TDU online...I have entered my GameSpy ID and all that but when I start up the game in the online profile it cannot connect. I have tried switching my firewall off but that doesnt work.

 

I have a cracked version of the game (dont go mad people) I guess this is the problem. I more than happy to buy a new version of the game if it is because I love the game.

Nah, I don't think you can connect on cracked versions. Go buy it :p

Wow, that was quick. Fair enough. Does it matter if the CDKEY has been used before, say if I brought a copy off Ebay(coz im cheap:))

I don't think it matters, assuming the person isn't still using it online. Which is very unlikely, seeing as you can't get online without the CD, lol. So, I don't expect there to be a problem.

ahhh...cheers, ummmm what gamespy do u need, i only have the free copy.

you dont even need gamespy loaded onto your HDD just use the ingame login/acct creation screen

And please don't talk about cracked or hacked versions, I know you're going to buy it as you really like the game after playing it but let's keep it legit, thanks.

it says the system requires 8gb of hdd. When you don't play, does it still take the space?

Not sure if that is a direct question to me or you are asking it, but my Atari folder is program files is 7.14gb

Yeah. Or change it, whatever.

I wouldnt suggst changing it. As Sensei did this, as he was using my CD-Key, even though he had his own legal disc - long story. /he encountered problems when he changed the .txt file to his own key and saved it. I just recomend deleting it.
