Just rename the file to whatever car you please. The M3 is a balanced, rear-drive car anyway, and there's plenty of those in the game.

the original Alfa_GT.bnk got 1.646.592 bytes

my Alfa_GT.bnk got 1.899.808 bytes

 

so i fixed size with MAP Tool and well - it worked

 

but then i added the windows which raised the filesize to 1.901.008 bytes

i fixed it again with MAP Tool - yeah but now i doesnt work ...

 

if i can get this work again we'll have an interior

 

lets have a look on it tomorrow ...

well its the only car i can open with zmodeler

 

only the "buy version" contains the TDU import filter

the free version is export only - but there is an example pack with all the alfa files in it

 

thats the reason why i've choosen the alfa

Huh? That's weird. Did you swap the files and say 'yes' to overwrite (stupid of me to ask, but I once was doing some sound mods (they failed anyway, but...) and I was just renaming the backup. How stupid of me. :cheeky: )?

The M3 should replace something else. Something in it's class. Maybe the SL65. Alsong as the filesize fits, there shouldn't be a problem at all with the car.

 

Also remember, the Interior should go in the (Car name)_I.bnk, not the (Car name).bnk

Woot! can't wait to use that baby when released.. as well as the carrera GT. Btw BasBas2004 do you think these cars will have detailed interiors? also say later on in next year or this year and you have full cars with interiors etc would you allow texture editing? just like we do to TDU cars already?

i really want to thank you for your great pioneering work in TDU modding.

But please take your time finishing your cars and don´t listen to all the replies with the wish for a beta already. IMO it would be better to fully explore whats currently possible, which limits does exist in TDU car modding.

The Audi R8 was already super nice but i would hope for an updated version someday, possibly with interior and some other stuff which could make it look more real.

replacement is the Mustang Saleen Coupe tuning stage 1. the stage 2 and 3 are difference. de got a other body's .. good to wreck it :D
