Work in progress: New races for single players

 

I was a bit disappointed with the little amount of races offered by TDU for the single players. I got my first Class F collection of cars complete but there are only 6 or 7 pure Class F races against bots. :cry:

 

When I opened the TDU Editor for the first time I was estatic (thinking I could create my own races here, but as you''ll probably know its only TimeRaces and CameraSpeedTrap that can be created here).

 

So I started waiting at some spots on the map to have a 1v1 instant challenge against a bot. But then its only 1 bot and sometimes I had to wait minutes until finally a class F came by.

 

So it was time to do some modding :thumbsup:

 

After a few days of messing around and learning about the files I was able to create 4 new races today. These races support:

 

Single player (sprint and lap races are both possible)

My own created routes to race on

Bots to race against (1 to 6 are possible)

All races accessable from the Map Screen and have money as reward

Class F vehicles (any race with any Class vehicle is possible)

Rookie Category (any category Rookie-Champion is workable with)

Traffic Enabled (will be a separate traffic off mod too later on)

Race #1 : Westbound on the Lunalilo FWY

Race of 8.2 KM against 5 bots.

Race #2 : Eastbound on the Lunalilo FWY

Race of 8.1 KM against 5 bots.

Race #3 : Lunalilo Freeway Race

Race 2 Laps of 12.2KM each (totals 24.4 KM) against 5 bots.

Race #4 : Ala Moana Boulevard -> Nimits Highway

Race of 6.1 KM against 5 bots.

My first mod will be complete if I have created 12 or 14 custom class F races (all around Honolulu and with easy cornering) for the Rookie class. After that I will be going for the E Class.

Looks great, Grin! I know the Evo isn't made for it, but somehow that bodykit makes me want to put it on a really powerful car, make it RWD, lower the grip, and have someone film me drifting. :cheeky:
