Yeah they hyped it up a bit too much, although I hear the peninsula was hit hard. I left work early to avoid the terrible traffic they predicted since they expected it to hit mid afternoon. Instead I drove in sunny skies (although very windy) and the storm didn't end up hitting us until 7pm (not great for those who listened to the radio where they recommended staying back in the city for a few hours after work).

Pretty spectacular sunset, right between the clouds and a dip in the mountain, and during heavy sleet. Straight off camera (aside from crop/watermark). :eek:
