Lol, sounds good, but not as good as a Ferrari!

A Ferrari has a sound which no manufacturer can get even slightly close to!

I think the Porsche Carrera GT is a fake, its boring, its big, its ugly, and a waste of money if you ask me!

The only good Porsche's were the early 964/930 Turbo!

Porsche today have become like VW Golfs, too big and slow!

Haven't you noticed that this thread is ALL about Carrera GT? :/

I don't quite get this car either, its sounds brilliant from the outside but when inside you can't hear the engine over the wind noise, Zonda is way better.

Anyway this MOD looks brilliant, looking forward to it.

First of all, this is not the place for a discussion like this, but if u wanna know, it is because this sound make my body treble with excitement !

Also, im looking forward to this mod the most because then we'll be able to have the three top hypercars/supercars!

-McLaren SLR

-Ford GT

-Porsche Carrera GT!

And You are right, as a car gets above 90 mph the wind noise in aggrovating!

Also i found a video on youtube of a Porsche Carrera GT with STRAIGH PIPES!

Sound awesome, not as good as a Ferrari, but good!

I like that the CGT is being made, good luck with the mod.

Yes, I am also very curious about this mod, but I didnt here anything about it, please keep up with this car, because it's such a lovely Porsche, and the mod looked nice already, and that spoiler this was totally innovative.

I also just found out that since the spoiler is mapped to the passenger window, when the door opens, the spoiler moves completely off of the car to the right.

 haha cool! I'd say leave it tbh, how many times to people open their doors?

That is great, I like your little quip above the image also. I'd say leave it buddy as the spoiler working is quite innovative and it's only a small annoyance compared to the time you will be driving the thing and being amazed at the working wing.

More updates in first post

Thanks guys! I'm keeping it the way it is. I hope to get done with it soon, so I can start on a new car (I'm not ready to work on requests). I already know which one, and it hasn't been mentioned here yet!!

I'm trying to learn 3d studio, but it's so different from zmod!

great job!

but dont you think the scale of the Carrera GT is a bit small looking?

I was thinking the same

SLRRR

Yeah, I noticed that too. I wasn't going to say anything and see if anyone else noticed! I'll work on scaling it to size.

EDIT: I just imported the S7 to compare sizes

S7: L: 188 in; W: 78 in

Carrera: L: 182 in; W: 76 in

All of the dimensions of the Carrera look good next to the S7. Maybe it was just the pics?

Even more updates in first post!!

I'm working as fast as I can guys! Only an hour or two a few days a week(between work, planning a wedding, my aquarium, ect.) This is my first time ever working with a 3d modeler and I'm learning new things everyday.

I am looking for tips for the lights. I can't get them right. It has something to do with shadowing/reflections. In one direction they are black, the oppisite they look fine. I've tried combo's of materials with no luck.

Keep it up buddy. It looks great. I am so excited (Most excited about this than any of the other models out). I also think you really made the right decision holding out until its perfect before releasing it. I like BasBas's work but I think putting out a bunch of crap, then fixing it one by one is stupid. But I digress. Great job!
