Nice car, here in Bulgaria we have lots of those but they are very ugly tuned...like this one :

The previous owner of my car was Bulgarian and I have to admit it was in pretty bad shape. I've already spent more money replacing bad parts and remodeling it than what I bought it for but is worth it. What can I say... I love the car :D

It's a C20XE - 2.0, 150bhp @ 6000rpm stock

 

I already got some mods going like a Lexmaul RAM Induction, a phaseV +25hp chipped ECU, K&N air filter, 60mm direct exhaust line with a Remus backbox.

I like how theres no badges and its all grey. we dont have opels and vaxualls over here in canada the closest we get to a vaxuall astra is a saturn astra (bascially the same car only american and diff brand) lol

I love those Calibras. A real nice looking car from Vauxhall/Opel!! Quick as hell too! Nice idea with the angel eyes!!

Yesterday I did a little run test and got to 240kmph (~150mph) @ 6100rpm.

 

Since the redline is about 8000rpm it can go a lot faster and it's not even properly tuned :D

Those have to be the worst, most underpowered, ugliest cars on the road. They finally carry the Astra here, unfortunately I now dislike it because it wears that awful badge. I wonder how many mousepower the Ion has...

Couldn't you just import one from Germany, for example?

Or is it too expensive, as it is here in Portugal?

 

In order to legalize a Calibra from Germany, we must pay about €2,000 (~$3,000) just for the burocratic stuff, plus the retail price, transportation.. it would be around 4,000€ and for that price we can buy a Calibra in good condition already legal.

 

I got mine for about 2,000€ with an added bonus, the Lexmaul RAM Induction with retail price of about 700€ (~$1,000) :D
