CarMadMike got a reaction from F12Berlinetta in Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2
Car meet at Manchester Airport this morning, we've had torrential rain for the past 36 hours so I think it put off a lot of people from bringing the cars, that and there's a big car event on in Cheshire this weekend too that I'm hoping to go to tomorrow if I get the time.
Apologies for the lighting on some of these, my heart wasn't really in it and the lighting was a bit awkward under the Concorde.
Anyone spot anything suspicious with this GT3RS?

"I'm getting senile: A Diablo story" is probably the thread title i'd have given it. :cheeky:

CarMadMike got a reaction from Rassva in Salon de TDUCK: New Car Releases
This really caught my eye yesterday, it's not as if Infiniti have a long history, they weren't around when these cars were being produced, but ignoring that this concept is stunning and I hope they make a few non-road legal models for people to collect:
images from Auto Express | New and Used Car Reviews, News Advice
It has an electric 148bhp powertrain, which is decent considering the size and weight of the thing. It'll be formally unveiled at Pebble Beach.

2017-07-23: Time limits for editing thread titles, posts and adding a poll to a thread have been reduced to the below. After some head-scratching and many cups of coffee I have managed to create a bypass of this for those in the 'Modder' usergroup but only while inside the Mod Shop forums. They will also be held to the new limits outside of that section.

Play nicely people.
Rule isn't usually here to defend himself so it's unnecessary to provoke him/anyone like that. Even if his mods are 'poop', others might like them, no one is forcing you to download them. Be civil.

'We're not going to give Vettel any further punishment for being a giant vagina because we want the championship to be decided on the track!'
'Oh, you changed your gearbox? are you crazy!? 5 PLACE GRID PENALTY!'
The latter thing is indiscriminate, not calling foul play againt HAM, I just think it underlines what a joke F1 is at the moment. Brundle has been complaining about these unnecessary penalties for a while now.

CarMadMike got a reaction from F12Berlinetta in Car Spotting: What You Saw Recently! - Part 2
Surprising little for the 250 GT Lusso at the back, a silver example (perhaps the very same one) went up for auction at the Goodwood Revival in 2015 with an estimate between £1.4m - 1.8m, but is most likely worth over £2m nowadays. Considering it is probably the most elegant Ferrari ever designed, has the V12, and has the 250 name, I think that's a bit of a bargain and will be worth 8 figures or more very soon.
That Ferrari 250 GTO appears to be chassis number 4153gt which has quite a past.... it won the Tour De France Automobile in 1964 with Lucien Bianchi behind the wheel. He was Jules Bianchi's Grand-Uncle, and unfortunately they both died due to injuries sustained while racing. You can find more information on the car here: Ferrari 250 GTO - The Autobigraphy of 4153 GT
I can't find any information about 4153GT ever being sold or how much it'd be worth, but considering the racing heritage it has, I'd imagine it'd go for over £25-30m in today's market. Chassis 5111GT sold for £30m-ish in 2013, and with the exponential price inflation on 250 GTOs, I imagine this is worth more now, even if it isn't in Rosso Corsa.
That said, I do tend to watch a lot of the big classic auctions when I get the time, and the market doesn't seem to be very buoyant at the moment, It probably isn't the best time to be putting something to valuable up for sale.

I think that might be my favourite spec McLaren P1, can you get orange coloured exposed carbon? That would make it even better, other than that I wouldn't change a thing.
Saw a yellow Esprit today, still a head-turned after all these years, wonder if they'll be worth high 6 figures one day?
Saw a Porsche 959 on the road last night but didn't have a chance to get a picture as I was driving, they're crazy expensive so it could have been a replica? Never heard of 959 replicas though, or seen any, it was in a very posh area so it might have been legit.
