  1. I recently hit the subscribe button on Mighty Car Mods, it's enough of a car fix while certain TV shows are not airing. Also have been watching Season 2 of TopGear UK again. Given how good he was in pod racers I would have expected Darth Vader to be the fastest Master of the Universe around the TG test track.
  2. It's an honor to have you here, Scotty from Scotland. Hopefully you bring more power with you.
  3. It's a very quiet road, evidenced by it's width and lack of painted lines. I didn't want to be the one to day, but yes I also thought the views were somewhat reminiscent of the UK. Most road enthusiasts normally head north into the forest; many may be unaware of this road.
  4. I launched the PS4 version of pCARS for the first time since preordering it to see how well it works with the 'unsupported' wheel (well enough) to see if it's worth joining one of the ROOZ leagues. Since I've got a tin-top career mode started on PC I decided to start with Formula Rookie on the PS4 (that said you can have multiple career modes on the same profile anyway).
  5. Have you tried using the 3 different gamepad handling modes? i.e. mode 1/2/3 (or A/B/C, I forgot). Basically the idea is these alter the way the gamepad feels to different tastes, since there is no perfect standard that 100% of players prefer.
  6. Funny, those were the exact two editions I was thinking of.. oh well.
  7. Well that came out of nowhere on my radar. Do we dare to imagine that that it has decent physics, handling, amazing open world, and cockpits with VR support to finish off a dream come true? Uhh, maybe not, assuming this is the opposite of enjoy a leisurely cruise - sounds like a twitchy NFS gamepad game from a few years back. Speed Elixir OFFICIAL website of Speed Elixir Game
  8. No doubt about it, excellent video. My CV1 is scheduled to ship end of June.
  9. I purchased some Audi R8 ignition coils with adapter for the 1.4 TSI to get more bang but I'm now thinking it might be better to try and sell my car untuned and save these for its replacement.
  10. So now's the time to spam them with TDU3 requests, right?
  11. This one is tempting, but I think I'll still wait for a low-km well specced Rising Blue Golf R for around the 30k mark. 2009 Volkswagen Golf GTI VI Auto MY10
  12. Not sure, but if I recall correctly, the quickest way to make money was to repeat on of the Speed missions that pays $75k and only takes around 15 seconds to complete - it was south-east.
  13. I wouldn't be trusting benchmark scores on hardware where's you're aiming to scrape the minimum requirements. Benchmarks and games stress out hardware in different ways. Open world games with a high player velocity (i.e. 300kph+ vehicle vs walking) also bring about unique stresses compared to other games. Please do not try and use an Intel Atom for PC gaming. It is Intel's equivalent of the type of processor found in modern smart phones. The absolute worst CPU you should be looking at is an i3, if not an older i5, paired with a discreet graphics card. If money is the issue, look for a 5yo second hand gaming PC. A new i3 with HD4000 built-in graphics on its own may be able to play pre-2010 games at medium-low settings with around 30fps. That's if the game developers included any support for Intel graphics - some require AMD/nVidia GPUs.
  14. TDU1 (PC) online is alive and well on community servers, you just need to get the Island Paradise mod. It's a little hard to complain about the current state of TDU2 given that Atari went bankrupt a few years ago. The Crew is probably the next best supported open-world racing game right now (when I say 'next best', I actually mean 'better' imo)
  15. Definitely no. A high end Intel CPU with advanced graphics built in might play it at a low resolution and a low framerate, but an Atom struggles with basic computer multi-tasking operations I don't even think that system could stream that game over from a more powerful gaming PC via Steam. 16. Almost sounds like generic menu music to a 10+yo indie video game
  17. Indeed, although they have found certain other planets in other systems, i.e. the earth 2.0's and that Jupiter cousin that's as close to its star as Mercury.
  18. I'll be watching it regardless, and will just enjoy it for what it is. Good luck with the whole 'radio announcer not talking much' idea
  19. OT here in case some have no idea what this is: iGP Manager TurboDuck League - Join now for FREE | turboduck forum Timezone probably won't work out for me so I'll just retire as the winner from last season (no idea how I did it)
  20. Yep, I knew it took a while, just couldn't recall from 20 years ago if it was quite that long, haha.
  21. I wonder how long the orbit takes, and if it's not more than a few decades, why we haven't noticed it before when close to the sun.
