  1. Looks nice! :) And, though this is offtopic, LONG LIVE TDUC! -Leadfoot
  2. Here's where the files are located Sound is in Euro/Bnk/Sound/Vehicules Interior Exterior is in Euro/Bnk/Vehicules Bnk1.map is in Euro/Bnk Database (you probably don't need this yet) is in Euro/Bnk/Database _____________________ Hope this helps! PM me if you have any questions! :) -Leadfoot

  3. Remember to BACK UP ANY FILES YOU REPLACE! It's a big pain to have to find a backup file if you forget. On the new mod download pages, there's usually a link to Djey's "Magic Map" file, which is called Bnk1.map. You'll need this to use any mods. That file is located in Atari/Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/Bnk. The car you're downloading will come in some form of a compressed file, like a .zip or .rar or whatever. Open it in Winzip or Winrar or whatever (I personally prefer to use 7-Zip). Inside is (in most cases) a ReadMe file, an interior and exterior, and a rim file). - Open the Atari/Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/Bnk/Vehicules directory (no idea why Atari decided to spell it that way :cheeky: ), and copy the files for the interior and exterior into there. The files are pretty self-explanatory: Drag those files into the directory and click yes to overwrite. ____________________ (Message too long)

  4. Great work for your first mod! :) And I have to say, your profile is very organized. Don't know why this is important, but it strikes me as very neat and matching. :cheeky: Widebody Murc's aren't exactly my style, but it's a very well-done conversion, so can't wait to see more of your work. :) -Leadfoot
  5. Been wondering when someone would create a fictional car. :) What's the "specifications" on it? Drivetrain, gearbox, etc. For when the new modding tools come out. :) -Leadfoot
  6. Nope. We had SOME rims used in the megapack (Murc Roadster comes to mind), but no car bodies or sounds or anything. As I mentioned earlier, the Diablo is in the TDU Modding Tools, but not in game, so even post-megapack files are kind of the same. Still haven't got around to trying to make files for it using the tools. Not sure what Modding Tools will do if I try. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  7. 2DM, 3DD, and 3dg files are in the .bnk's of the car's interior and exterior. You need ZModeler to make or modify them. According to Porsche Carrera GT, there's a German tutorial video. :) -Leadfoot
  8. There's already several good-quality and realistic STI sounds; look around for them in the Sound Forum. :) -Leadfoot
  9. EA has a unique license deal for both Porsche and BMW, meaning that both of those are EA-only. :( -Leadfoot
  10. There's hundreds of non-used slots, like Subarus, BMWs, Toyatas, Bugattis, etc., but we can't use them. They're just names that TDU had in case those cars were included. Also, if you check the modding tools, you'll find that we "apparently" have a Lambo Diablo GT. Which, last time I checked, we don't. :cheeky: Though I wonder what would happen if I put all the .bnks (body, interior, sound, etc.) from Grin's Diablo into that slot... -Leadfoot
  11. Cool! Can't wait to re-purchase TDU and try it out. :) EDIT: Looking closely, I think I have an idea where they're from. And that makes me very happy about future road mods. ;) -Leadfoot
  12. My TDU's been broken for a while (randomly requests activation) and I've been pondering getting a different version (DVD, not Atari Digital Download Store). However, your pictures of the LP640 Roadster in that color... Wow! Amazing pics, and you've just earned some guy on eBay around $15.00. :cheeky: Great color, great shots. And nice Zonda pics, too, by the way. :) -Leadfoot
  13. Could be the in-game settings. Is H-Shifter enabled, and do you have all gears set individually? -Leadfoot
  14. Can't wait for this! Zonda PS will be quite unique... :) -Leadfoot
  15. Is he saying that the released concept art is from TDU1? Or is some of it from TDU2 as well? -Leadfoot
  16. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- From a long time ago. TDU is broken at the moment. :crying: -Leadfoot
  17. With a method of file conversion and permission from the authors of the cars (I am aware of the many, many WR2 mods available, even though I don't play the game), it is possible. But they might not be high enough poly to look good in TDU. -Leadfoot
  18. Is there a difference in TDU as to how it handles a "sequential" gearbox vs. a "semi-automatic" gearbox? Rather, does anyone else with a G25 know; otherwise it probably wouldn't make a difference. :cheeky: Can't wait to a) get my TDU working again (might buy another copy), and b) drive my H-Gate, proper manual Ferrari F430. :) -Leadfoot
  19. Where'd you get that 'Cuda? Awesome pics, by the way, especially the one of the Lambo hunting... all of us. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  20. It's in TDU Mod Shop > Modding Tools or Programs or whatever > Djey's Modding Tools (it's a sticky). I'm too lazy right now to find it, because it's 2:30 in the morning. :cheeky: But I think you mean change the redline itself, as in make a 6500 rpm car rev to 8000? Because that has to wait for the next update of Djey's Modding Tools. RedCarDriver's method is only for a visual change, which doesn't affect the car's driving in any way. -Leadfoot
  21. [Quietly]He was being sarcastic.[/Quietly] :cheeky: I think I'll be able to make a nice, mountainous setting in Crysis (or borrow someone else's and put some cars in :) ). -Leadfoot
  22. WOOT! After working on the same movie for a LONG time, I have an idea for a nice, relaxing, film inspired by a certain Ken Block... :) Thanks for making this! -Leadfoot
  23. Indeed it does. :) -Leadfoot
  24. "SI" generally implies the US-spec car, which is a stock version of the picture you posted. Also, the 2006 Civic in Juiced 2 is the US-spec coupe, though the game also has a 2002 Euro-spec Type-R. -Leadfoot
  25. I'm new to this message system, so not sure if this'll work. Anyway, the Z06; I see a few of these around where I live (well, one, actually...), and it really is a nice-looking car in real life. However, the TDU version is... somehow too "triangular," with the front behind a little too low and oddly shaped, and the general front angles being completely wrong. The NFS model, however, accurately copies the real-life version, in my opinion. When I get my new monitor I'll try to find a pic to show the difference... :) Thanks for the reply! -Leadfoot
