I don't know, sounds pretty good, but it doesn't give me the V12 feeling. Altho i haven't really heard a DB9, tried looking on youtube but i didn't find any good vids.

Anyone else think this car has an annoyingly BIG steeringwheel?

just search for the top gear test drive of the db9 or dbs

in the challenges they did the car vs train feature and it was the db9 they used agains the eurostar i think

Not A Bad Sound Needs More Bass In The Tone But Its Not Far Off

These samples were recorded from a car that belongs to my boss.

Admittedly, he had some work done to the exhaust and some internal work, raising the rpm range limit.

That's why it sounds higher pitched than normal.

I also recorded from the front of the car, where I would usually record from further back.

Also, the original sample slots offered only 2 on/off samples reducing the natural sound of rising rpms.

I must say though, full ball in this thing is pure magic!

Hey, what did u used for recording?

I got my Cannon 10 Megapixels (new model so I think it should record well)

but when I record NFS UC Sound I found that it has a litmit, and if I just simply raised the volume in Audacity the sounds becomes weird,

and very high ptched, plz tell me what u use to record, my webcam is even worse.

Edit: o and BTW the sound mod is Brilliant!!! +Rep!

When I use real cars, I use a pro mic and laptop to record, in a 'reverbless' environment when I can.

The software I use is Goldwave and Sound Forge.

Then it's just a matter of editing 'till sounds feel right.

Saladine, your sound samples and mods are from a very rare quality, IMO far better than some EDEN genuine sounds. +rep and good luck for you future projects :)
