Indeed I am. I got better with macro, I think. Although I took 3 photos like the second one, just to make sure it's focused on the right spot. :D

No. This thread is for your best photos, be pretty empty if they had to be taken on the day you post them. Some of the best photos come from traveling around where you may not have access to a computer, then what?

The snail close up is nice but the best is the first, the use of selective colour there is really nice.

Making this image a PNG makes it a bit unsharp, any ideas to solve that?

I actually like a lot, which is why I waited for it to load at work lol. Tbh I quite like that it's not super sharp, I think it adds nicely to the effect.

 

You'll want to make a scaled down version for hotlinking as that one is way over and my crappy old work connection was feeling the burn.
