He's right, there's no need to be rude, just a simple "no" is sufficient, your jokes arn't funny and all they do is discourage people in being a part of the forums. Clearly you've gone after this member just to make a point, even though a polite respectable answer had already been given over an hour before you posted.

 

To be honest I find this unacceptable, and any other instances I come across of long term members being rude, to new users or users with low post counts, will be infracted and could face bans.

Alright, I had no idea that I would be pounced on for saying that as I meant it partly to be a joke. Anyway, obviously it wasn't taken as a joke and was instead taken seriously. I realise my earlier actions were un-called for and that I wasn't setting a good example to others as well as not treating a newcomer with respect so my apologies go to Eeshan.
