OK so I finally got Zmodeler (seeing as I kinda failed as a sound modder :lol:) and I can now start proper modding (while I'm not busy with school) :p. But please dont expect anything great since this is my first mod and I'm learning :) Thought I'd post a WIP just to see what people thought of the idea :thumbsup:

VW Camper Van

Vehicle replaced: Chevy SSR

Creator: 3D Model - mightyreds93

Features:

- Definitely a 3D interior (dunno how you class a high or low poly one)

- If I learn quickly, opening doors etc.:cheeky:

Update: 17/11/09 - Just a little one, got all the textures right ready for import to TDU :D

Do you have any 3D modelling experience? Otherwise, you'll soon realize that the small slope you face as a converter is actually Mount Everest. :cheeky:

FYI you don't need credits if you are making the 3d model yourself. Also change the Converted by to Made by.

Just a couple of hints to stop people getting confused.

Thanks for all the feedback... Zmodeler Import images posted. Will work on it a bit tomorrow, spent tonight getting to grips with Zmod :D Once again thanks for the support :)

Just a thought which makes me scratch my head in confusion, If you 'Brought' Zmodeler you should have Zmodeler 2.2.2 not Zmodeler 2.2.1

So whats going on with that?

Made that model in SketchUp which I've had for a while :D

I dunno I thought that when I first opened it, I checked to see if there was a newer version, there was, so I ran that auto update thing and now have 2.2.2 :D

I need to know what parts are that material... otherwise I can't even get it out of Zmod :(

I think there´s a material left;)

Click on that red ball on the top, then search the material FRL_L and add there the lightfx.2db which you can find in the commoncar.bnk:)

Maybe it works then.

OK, add behind the name FRL_L this:

(CLR)

So that the name of the material is:

FRL_L (CLR)

If it doesn´t work then, I don´t know what´s the problem:(

No sorry, that comes up with the same error too. I'll try starting over with a new replacment... maybe the Curve or A3 :sulk: Hope the problem isnt with my model or I'll have to cancel the mod :(

All I can say, is you've done something wrong.

I just imported the same model and can export without errors. So go back and start again by merging the van thing with the SSR.

Did you load the 'Common_car' textures in Zmodeler first off? If not start there. Better yet why not follow my little guide I done? ;)
