I downloaded the original torrent and nothing inside the file works. I've tries both 7zip and winrar and they both say the file is damaged. It definetley downloaded fine but none of the 'Zo' files will let me take anything from the inside. I am just saying this because the torrent might be corrupted or the download didnt work properly for me. I can't download it again for another month. Too big.

 

But I must say Opelos_HUN, It looks brilliant. Good Job !! :)

Yes, I downloaded it 4 times (3 times with torrent, last one rapid premium) and none of them works...

This is my mod for TDU. I modified the full island, grass, roads, boards, plants, houses, particles, map, menu, some sounds..

Don't wait for a miracle, it's just a texture mod, and just a beta version.

Install:

Open the .zip file with your winrar/winzip/total commander, and extract to your TDU folder.

I have downloaded the torrent file (in 3 or 4 hours i think ><), and the 4 patches, but i have a problem:

 

The problem is that in "Tdu winter mod" (dll by torrent), i have 12 files in .z01 .z02 .z03 ...

What have i to do with theses files ? How to open them ?

 

I think a "Read me" file could be nice to explain how to install this greatfull mod !

I installed this fantastic mod and really enjoyed it. I am making a kind of auto-installer to avoid the files handling and be able to switch easily between the different snow modes...

Thus I have some questions for you (that I cannot ask in PM as I am a newcomer in this forum) :

- Do you allow me to use your images in the installer ?

- Can I post this installer for everybody ?

I think all files work, i tested it before with some weeks.

 

All clear roads clear, you need the original roadpatch and common-audio file for the clear roads.

I'am sure all the files work. But I suppose some people (not only me, as I have just read in the 522 posts of this thread - what I hadn't done entirely before) had corrupted bits in the downloaded files. The result can randomly be a 'not openable' archive or, like for me, one or two files that are damaged with a wrong checksum....

 

I hope my installer will fix this definitely, and fix also the procedure errors (when applicable :))of people who didn't manage to install it.

It is currently being beta tested by some local friends on Win7, with the files I mentioned (zones 4-6-5-5 and 5-1-2-0) replaced by the original (not winter) ones... that's why I was asking for them : to have a complete installer with correct files. I also have a TDU crash when installing the '18WoS Extreme' => I downloaded it again and will try.

 

I may also add the Illusion weather mod (as an option) if he agrees...

 

Thanks for your support, and if you could upload temporarily those two files, it would avoid me to download the whole thing again to get them not corrupted....

For now, it works on Xp, Win7 (with some rights adjustment to make in TDU folder...).

 

I still have some changes to make to provide a complete work. For example it restores the original TDU files, and not the 'potentially modified' the user had when he installed the Winter mode...

I working through all of this, and will keep everybody updated...
