I think we missunderstadn each other a little.

Here screenshot of Tools Diablo on top of the Countach slot

http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w93/Reilsss/TDUPictures/smallrims.jpg

(I use here the Murcielago Coupe as default rim, if I keep the Countach one, the rim is correctly big enogth, but the rubber goes into the rim with make it look very weird as well)

If you compare this to a Diablo thats installed on the murcielago slot you notice on the Countach are the rims much smaller. Because the black rubber of the tire is much thicker or longer.

Sinces the rubber of the tire is from car to car diffrent (independend of the 3d model) I was wondering if anyone know where the database value for this setting is, and if I can change it without braking online driving.

(pic of the same 3d model on the murcielago Slot: http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/2711/20100201222119.jpg it has noticable bigger rims)

This can't be fixed with TDUPE as far as I know, its mostly a bodyswap bug. If you would like the Diablo SV to have bigger rims overall, then you have to install it on the Murcielago(I have mine on the Farboud, it works perfectly with some modified suspension settings)

And also, the "default" rim option just makes the cars rim fit into the tire better, it doesn't actually change the rim model itself.

I have the 2010 Camaro SS on the Mustang GT Convertible, but it just feels so underpowered and sluggish, so I was wondering if I could increase the performance a little and still be able to play online and not get kicked from the game. If this counts as cheating then I won't even bother with it. For example though, I'll be increasing the 300 HP of the Mustang to the 426 of the Camaro.. not anything like 1000 HP.

  • 2 weeks later...

I got the new 2.75 version, and even though I've pointed it towards my TDU install, it still says "TDU Database Not Found" when it starts up.

I think I just found a potential bug in the path option, when I set the path, and pressed the save button, it didn't make any change to the config file, I had to do that manually, then make the change a second time inside TDUPE before it would accept it.

And the option to edit the SLK-55 Performance Package version is still missing.

Load TDUPE. You should get the "Database not found" error. Press OK and TDUPE will still load.

Go to "Settings->Installation Directory" and change the text in the box to your installation directory. MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE A TRAILING BACKSLASH. (E.g C:\Program Files\Test Drive Unlimited\)

Click outside the box onto the save button.

Exit TDUPE.

Restart TDUPE.

Thank you very much! I have sought solution for a long time....Researching from Chinese forum and English forum has cost my lots of time!but they have nothing to do with my problem.......up till now,I have found that I just lack a TRAILING BACKSLASH!!!!!!!!!:mad:..........:lol:that's fun.you are a kind man..........

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
   <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I click continue, then when I click load car i get this error

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I think the best thing to do is to body-swap the Camaro on a car that has more or less the same amount of the power, such as the CLS-55 or XLR-V. but if you REALLY want the Camaro on the Mustang Convertible just increase the acceleration value as its online-safe.(I did it to a lot of cars)

i can't download it because tdupe.com told me something like "logging in on multiple accounts is disabled" ??! i only registered once ): please help me!

You need to make 5 posts on their forums before you're allowed to download anything.

This is really a bad idea because it's creating a "false sense of quality" to mods with glaringly obvious bugs in them. People are spamming "awesome" and "perfect" before they're ever allowed to download the mods.....
