Well after some calls I got an appointment to go look at his collection, I'll be in Detroit in July for 4 days and the first day I get there i'm going, I'm giddy like a schoolgirl right now:p I'll be sure to post pics. Heres a video if anyone is interested:)

His taste in cars (especially the muscle cars) is damn near identical to mine! Apart from the few exceptions, there isn't very much that's in there that I would take out/replace. God you're a lucky guy to be able to visit that garage... How'd you do it anyway?

Woudl spend all my time in the last part, not a fan of american muscle cars. But wow, no F50 though? But still all of the hypercars are there, 959, F40, Enzo, Carrera GT, Veyron, SLR, ect. ect. amazing.

 

Oh didn't see a XJ220, oh well.

Wait, he's Ken Ligenfelter of, you know, Ligenfelter Performance Engineering, who made those ridiculously fast-and-driveable C4s? (Though I guess it should be "previously of LPE" now). Your "lucky" status has gone up again. :)

 

Guess that's why he has all the Ligenfelter 'Vettes. IMO, the most shocking part was seeing the Veyron just sitting there, nothing special about it. I was impressed by the specialty Corvettes, though, even if I'm not a fan of having twenty similar GTOs/Impalas/whatnot in a row. :) But I'm not him, so whatever floats his boat. :)
