rar. Sound mod files.

I was really wanting to add an Aston Martin DBS sound that I found on here into the stock game DB9,from what I hear this is possible. Wjen I rename the DBS file to he DB9's, it won't work, and I'm pretty sure it's because the DBS's file is an rar. It's a mod from this site so I'm sure someone knows about it. Thanks!:bsod:P.S, I'm almost at this point with this modding stuff,but I can't stop!

A .rar file is a compressed archive, like a Zip but with a different compression method.

Oh,thanks Kurgan, I got the mod and its sound into the game.I'm new to modding TDU,so be easy.Now I just gotta figure out how to use the TDUPE,but it looks simple so thanks again!

Ok,thanks so much for the help guys,but i have another stupid question. I got Dredgy's TDUPE, and I can't find the Installation Dirctory for the game. I have the 64-bit Windows 7 and I used Digital Download to get the game.

Default should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited

I'm still confused, I click on "Test Drive Unlimited" and it doesn't do anything,so just tell me what I do when I get to that point.
