After try the game today, I notice that some car models are inaccurate.

Here's the example compare to TDU/Forza 3 models.

Ferrari 458

Nissan GTR (the ugliest gtr ever!)

Ferrari Enzo

F458 looks like it could be an optional thing as some pics show the chromed outline and others don't. As for the GT-R hard to tell as hasn't it had a facelift or 2 in it's time? What year is the GT-R in game?

Does it matter..? Really, does it? Its just a small little detail. Most of the time you'll be in interior view driving, not looking at the the inaccuracies of a car. Enjoy the game, don't pick out its flaws.

When you compare get the same perspective. Looking down on the front of the car makes it look wrong when paired with the image you have of the actual whereas the image shown below shows the same sort of thing.

Found a better one

Erm... You do realize your GTR reference pic was a TDU1 mod? It does have those lights. As for the 458, well, it's certainly not a glaring error, so I'm not going to worry about anything at this point.

Forza's models aren't brilliant in places also.

True.I don't see why is he whineing.

Man if you want accuracy, you are on the wrong place, get GT5 and use premium models,if not, stop whineing.

Aye the Aileron is jokes. Also I'm not going to rant or anything but the Enzo looked better in the first game.. okay it was too thin but this one is like a toy car. It has stupidly thick vent surrounds at the front, the same thing that made the Murcielago look so awkward in the original game.

I prefer to drive in outside view and I am not the only one...

Well I wasn't really talking about the accuracy in Forza 3, more like how they use high polygon models and how much of a difference does it make. And actually I do think they are good models. Anyway NFS showed us that accurate models can be achieved even with mid polycount models. Take a look at HP models, compare them with real life cars, now take a look at TDU2's models. You'll notice difference, unless you are blind.

BTW I said Forza's models are quite accurate, cuz me and my friend (mostly my friend works with it a lot)... so it's not like I dunno what I'm talking about ;)

Agreed. +rep

Edit: Had a look myself...

No problem here? As Diablo said, probably an optional extra.

Fair enough, they are slightly out. But seriously, when you drive in the game you dont look at the front of the car so you should be fine :)

Ah,no!What if he is driving with close chase cam,and constantly looking at the back view?Maybe there is thousands of them playing game like that...

TDUCK (as he is the only god here),help us!

Now seriously,stop being James May,enjoy the game,as Jazzy said,or don't play it.

If models don't matter to you guys, I suggest trying out GTA IV, and using the Infernus. Rear looks identical to the Zonda, while the front looks identical to the Murcielago.

If a car just almost looks like something, than it's not the car we want. Just an imitation. Where does Eden get these modellers from?

Inaccurate models has always been a skill of Eden's modellers. Sometimes they can't even be bothered to line a badge up correctly (Murci roadster - TDU)

And yes it is frustrating but it will not stop me from enjoying the game. To me it just shows that in some cases, not enough effort has been put in, or not enough time been given for the effort to be put in.

There's no need to jump down his throat for noticing it though guys. ;)

If you want accurate models so badly, I suggest playing Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport games.

I can't, cuz it's either on PS or kickbox. I already have a great PC, I don't want to buy a PS :\ And you can't cruise around in Gran Turismo or Forza, just drive on tracks.

That's not the point, why license something if you're going to do it wrong? The 458 thing is too nit picky even for me but cars such as the CLK 63 Black, Enzo, Aileron and Peking To Paris to name a few just look sloppy. It's called honesty, and look I've not once mentioned cancellation or refund, because I still enjoy the game it's just a pity some cars are bad.
