Too bad the M-Division suffers from bad decisions of BMW's management, opponents Merc and Audi have proven that the M8, M3 Tourings and more M's could have easily been sold without being a commercial drama.

 

That Ur Roadster is fugly btw, glad it never made it into production.

 

Just think of the fun you'd have working there, having to inspect, maintain and occasionally drive stuff the world never has seen before.

But BMW was keen to not dilute the brand in the way that AMG and RS lines have done, they wanted to keep the emphasis on performance across the board not just straight line brutality. However with the arrival of such cars as the X5M & X6M they too seem to be giving into selling badges before credible cars.
