I've made a simple checklist to determine if a game release date is indeed BS.

[X] Is it published by or somehow associated with Atari?

[X] Did the developers split the release between platforms/regions?

If you can truthfully mark any of the above boxes, the likelihood of it being released on a claimed date just dropped by 100%. To answer your question, here's a youtube video explaining this.

SRT reviewed TDFRL on PS3. The game deserved it's low score (although interestingly these sim racers were opposite to all the other idiot reviewers who said the game was too hard after the first phase; they said it was way too easy). The only disappointment is that they treated this as a 2012 game (ok so it is) when it's really a 2007 title using the old SHIFT 1 engine and tech and then implying that pCARS might be just as bad because of it, which is definitely NOT the case. Wish they'd hurry up and try it instead of telling us who won various series in iRacing.

I looked on Atari's website for the game today, and the PC Download seems to be available for purchase! (Previously, selecting PC Download redirected to the 360 version.)

Still unsure about whether to buy it or not after all the negative press, though. Anyone here going to get it?
